Waitress was incredibly rude to our whole table. When my friend asked for a two chocolate chip waffles, the waitress asked if she was actually going to eat both of them. I saw the same waitress come out of the restroom without washing her hands.

I have eaten here over 100 times. I have never had any issues with anyone other than a night waitress named Ashley. Food and service have been great other than the one experience to which I now ignore her if I dine in due to she literally calling the police on me for me inadvertently getting her written up.

They wasn’t talking orders over the phone so I paid for my food online never received it because she said they forgot to send my order back. She told my bf she refunded my money never went back on my card and now no one answering the phone. So, if management sees this, please give me a call. Yes I have pictures of receipt and we came by Christmas Eve if you need to check cameras my baby was sick and cranky and I was just stopping to get food. Had to be back home which was an hour drive.
The food is cooked to perfection, the staff is great, and the restaurant is very clean. One of the best Waffle Houses in Mobile!

While there we had a server named Tara who told us “ we will not be able to take your order for 20 due to us cleaning the grill” we told them we are willing to wait and she took out drink orders she served us old tea after we ask for new she said “ we don’t get paid enough to make new tea here” we asked her why was that she replied “ our shift doesn’t make enough so they only supply us with 1 tea bag”

I hope Management sees this review - I visit this location near my office and every time I go, it’s such a great experience! This morning, September 28, 2023, it was one of the employee’s birthday (black girl named Raven). She was the employee who took and served me my order - just the kindest and best customer service. From the time I walked in, there was a white guy and black guy on the grill (hate I don’t know their names!) but their customer service was beyond great. From the moment I walked in, both of these guys acknowledged me, said hello, and when I walked out - wished me a great day. You don’t see this above and beyond service in many restaurants around 7:45-8:00 AM CST. Go Waffle House - Hillcrest Team, keep up the great work! It made my day being served by these three individuals.
