We took 2 different Uber rides to separate locations after midnight attempting to dine in despite all showing “open 24 hours” online and being turned away. To be fair, they are open 24 hours but after 9PM they are takeout only. Employees seemed disgruntled by this rule and it’s not advertised anywhere. If you’re takeout only after 9PM then your operational hours should reflect that so that people aren’t spending money on Uber rides to find out after the fact that you can only order from a walk up window and there are no tables to eat your foot on. Very poor judgement call on behalf of Waffle House corporate. I will not be returning to any Waffle House during any hours at this point.
