Nothing great here… use to be a favorite of hours for years but now it’s just a bunch of watery curries and and weak flavored

The food was really good. The service wasn't great and the tables weren't very clean.

The Naan (with or without garlic) is good. The Basmati Rice is cooked to perfection, and the Lamb Saag is an easy 10/10. It's the best Curry Spot in Mobile.

Food is old, no flavor and no personal interactions with anyone. You have to order through QR code and pay before getting your food even to dine in. Once food got here the rice was old and hard, curry had no flavor.

I wanted Indian food but wasn't able to go anywhere due to my car needing repairs. Checking Uber eats, I saw that Yak The Kathmandu Kitchen was an option. I've heard of it but I'd never been to it. My curiosity prompted me to try them. Chicken tikka masala was the obvious choice and I also decided to order naan. The restaurant is a considerable distance away from my house so I expected a longer wait for the arrival of my order. I believe the wait time was supposed to be 30-55 minutes. I'm not sure when the order arrived but it didn't seem like a particularly long time. When I picked up the order from outside, the food still felt really warm.I have to say that I'm not much of a spicy food eater. My chicken tikka masala spice choice was mild. I believe you get to choose from mild, medium, spicy, and extra spicy. The mild was just enough spice for me and I loved it. It smelled so good and the flavor didn't disappoint. The naan was delicious as well. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. I will have to try this place again. The first time was a 5 star experience.

The bathrooms was so nasty, my feet literally was sticking to the bathroom floor, from build up of urine, but the food is delicious, it makes me wonder what the kitchen area looks like.

This is better as a takeout unless you want to getchu some cute 10 dollar clutches to go along with your dinner.

The food is good (love the momo), but I can't recommend ordering food from the website (storefront by doordash) because if the order gets messed up you'll have no way of getting a refund on any missing or incorrect parts of the order.

So sad to see this place going downhill :( used to be one of my faves, and now the sauces are extremely watery and lack any flavor at all. I hope they can get it together soon because they used to be amazing!

We hadn't ordered from Yak for a couple years when we had a sudden desire for some of their delicious food. What a completely different experience. Low, low quality cooking. Watery sauces with none of the signature richness. The breads were rubbery tasted of oil, and raw dough. We are sad to see how far the restaurant has fallen.

This is the second time I have gotten watered down saag from this establishment. When it's good, it's great, but when they want to cut corners, they offer you flavorless, watered down saag and it is honestly infuriating. I placed an order over $70 and got water with spinach and paneer. I really hate that this has happened more than once because it just solidifies I will have to order from else where. They used to be the best, now it just seems they give up a bit near the end of the day. Mind you I placed my order at 5:30pm so it's not even that late. Huge Disappointment and we won't be returning

The food was amazing and the waitress who assisted us was amazing too! She did not hesitate to ask and help me pick out menu items that were vegan, willingly! Great experience!
