“We were visiting Montgomery to attend our son's graduation from the US Air Force officer training camp. We were looking for a high end dinning experience and this venue was recommended. It did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were pleased. The ambiance was delightful. Our waitress, Cece was a sweetheart and was genuinely interested in our story. The cocktails were great and the food was even better. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a fine dinning experience.“
“I love small businesses, and I love this place. The barista is the nicest woman on the planet. For that alone I love that place but also they have so much awesome indoor and outdoor space, a chess area, and you can also book an inclosed room for a meeting space. Oh and she offers not just coffee but alcohol! Boom, baby. My only issue is that I wish they had more food options. It’s not nothing so I’ll give them that.“

“More of a upscale relaxed atmosphere with welcoming staff, nice furniture up and down stairs.
Has private sitting area up stairs.
Even live band entertainment at times.
Not a large selection of cigars as some but has a full bar at one's disposal.“

“I really enjoy coming here because the vibes feel really welcoming, the drinks are always good, and the bar’s aesthetic is really cool. The fact that they showcase art from artists that are for sell on their walls is so unique to me. David is a really good bartender, honestly , the best one in the state if you ask me. I can tell that he and the owner , Mendel are very knowledgeable on drinks. They are both always so welcoming and nice . I give them a 10/10, 5 stars, whole 9 yards haha“

“Why hasn’t anyone said anything about djcasequarter who plays there on Friday nights? Ths guy is an internationally known soul DJ. I mean really. He has a radio show in New York City that plays the wildest gospel music you’ve ever heard. And he lives in Montgomery. Almost virtually unknown here. He plays mostly vinyl 45s. I mean it’s sick. It’s like having Elvis or Led Zeppelin playing in a little bar in Montgomery. No lie. And every once in a while there are other top notch DJs from around the US that play here too. World renowned soul DJs drop in. I mean it’s incredible.“
“If you go earlier in the evening it's a very mature, chill bar. Drinks are good and service was great. A little on the pricey side for the well drinks. $38 for four drinks with Tito's. That said this bar is very my speed at 40 yo. Great that Vintage Year and Frenchies have food options but we had reservations at Vintage Year.“
“My girlfriend and I were in town for a few days, and we were looking for some karaoke. After some brief research online, we found what we were looking for. Bo and Barrett run karaoke on Tuesdays. The sound system was amazing. The song selection was extensive. But what really made this one of the best karaoke experiences was the atmosphere, the crowd of great people, but most importantly the fun and engaging way these guys run the show. If you're looking for darts, pool, karaoke (with good singers), and great drink prices/service, then look no further than Players. Our Tuesday night felt like a Friday night. Just wow.“
“I stopped in here on April 21st in 2021 after visiting Hank and Audrey Williams grave sites, and having been incredibly fortunate to have met a Honky-tonk Princess traveling home towards Mobile. As luck would have it and a dash of fate, we met here at Mac's for a couple of drinks... Due to a problem with my son, I'd been feeling blue and they don't make many heartfelt songs about lost drug addict children, but no one's ever expressed heartache more succinctly than Hank, and true love, is just that... but heartaches hurts worse when its your child...I apologized to the staff for blue tunes as my new found friend and I shared a few songs publicly on our phones, but as soon as they heard we had just been to the grave site and REALLY liked Hank, the folks working there couldn't have been more friendly and played music we all discussed over their loud system. The staff here had already shown promptness, professionalism,, and courtesy serving our drinks, but once the music began, you'd think we'd all been old friends... When they found out we'd just met and just happenstance into their bar for a drink, they laughed and seemed to express, very few people meet at Hank's grave site who didn't come their together...Rather you need a bottle to take with you, a drink before heading out, meet a new friend, or feel the need to drop a tear in your beer... This is a one stop shop I highly recommend, and it's only few miles from the grave site.Do not judge this book by the cover, the building looks a little rough and uninviting, but this is an older safe neighborhood establishment I think Hank Williams would have liked...We sure did... Thanks for the hospitality!“

“This restaurant is a Montgomery tradition and renowned by locals for great food and service for a reasonable value. No reservations on weekends so plan accordingly. Everything on the menu is good but I like their onion rings, crab claws and West Indies salad for appetizers. I favor their Steaks and seafood for entrees. Their green salad is fresh The kids menu is one of the best in MGM for quality and value.“

“Ask about their daily specials and go for what the chef feels compelled to cook. I had marinated steak kabobs, so tender and tasty. The roasted vegetables, broccoli, zucchini, artichokes peppers and onion, fabulous! Twice baked potatoes perfectly made! Very pleased!“

“A really good Mexican place for family. This is has been one of my favorite spots to eat for graduation and family get togethers. The prices are more on the expensive side usually about $20-$25 per person. The salsa and cheese dip are really good. I had Texas fajitas and I was full by two tortias stuffed fully. The meat was juicy and fresh.
Parking: Great parking, peak times there are still plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: Staff are friendly, helpful, and always making sure you have everything.“

“Service can get slow mid day sometimes 45-90 minute wait but portion sizes & amazing tasting plates are usually well worth it!
Onion rings here are above and beyond ANY I’ve ever had before! Greek salad is a very large portion with healthy greens NOT iceberg lettuce.
Vegan veggie bowl just added to the menu, I’ve ordered it twice now and it’s come out completely different both times with different veggies.
Sundays is brunch ONLY menu all day, which does NOT have vegan/plant based only options other than side of fresh fruit.
However, those without a limited diet, have an incredible array of fluffy pancakes, fresh toasts and many options! This place keeps busy on Sundays at all hours!“
