Never got our food. Left after an hour and three minutes. Husband had given himself insulin in preparation to eat so he went hypoglycemic while we continued to wait. Diabetics need a 20-30 minute window after they give themselves a shot. After that, if they don’t eat, their blood sugar level dips, and it can get dangerously low. Most of the time it’s not an issue as in a normal restaurant the food comes out in a reasonable time. I luckily had some airplane cookies I found in my purse after we left so he wouldn’t pass out. Went to First Watch instead and they served us immediately. Would recommend Bubbly Hen to not seat people outside if they can’t serve them. It’s not hard to tell people there’s a long wait so they can decide if that wait is something they can do. One positive: the coffee was good.

Waited for an hour and three minutes and never got our food. Had to leave. Husband is diabetic and gave himself insulin, so we couldn’t wait any longer or he was going to get even more hypoglycemic. Went to First Watch and got served immediately.

The only positive thing I can say is the coffee was good.

GRIFFIN. was an amazing host/server, the food was very nicely plated hot and fresh! Shrimp and grits were great!

This was our first time eating here. Daena was a top notch server. Gave us great insight into the menu and was responsive to our needs. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. Very well seasoned and I would definitely get it again. The Bill-E-Bacon with the peach habanero jam 👌🏾 chefs kiss. I'm not a coffee drinker but did try the Ice Sugga Momma and it was sweet and worth the try.

Came highly recommended, but so very disappointed. Potatoes were mushy, chicken was so overcooked and dry. Biscuit was rock hard. Would not go back for that.

Coffee was barely warm, they brought me a hot one, sausage gravy was way over seasoned with garlic and ? Way too rich. Tasted like an alfredo sause. Sausage gravy is a simple dish easily ruined by trying to be to creative and best served hot which this was not, bisquit was hard.
Music was too loud for breakfast.

My husband and I went for brunch and really liked it. Our server was so sweet and honest. I asked if the carbonara was good, and she advised me to steer clear (she said it was coming off the menu for a reason). We both ended up getting the chicken and waffles. They were great, except that the waffles seemed more like sweet cornbread/waffle things. Overall great experience.

Frequent visitor here. I typically come for the drinks, but today my mom had the fried green tomatoes, and I decided to give them a try as well. I can say, I’m pleasantly surprised. Normally they’re a little too salty for me at other places. However, these were cooked to a nice consistency and the local honey and pimento cheese combo were a HIT.

this place was so bad, we ordered the easiest things to make, that ought to have taken like 15 minutes MAXIMUM, and it took an hour to get our food. i understand sunday rushes as i work in the industry, but it should have never, in any world or circumstance, taken an hour to make the items we ordered. our server never came back to see us but one or two times, we had to point at the coffee cup to get more coffee because she would not return, and she had the personality of the napkin sitting on the table. in the hour we were waiting, she asked ONE time if we needed anything, within the first 15 minutes of waiting, and then did not check back with us until we about waved her down near to the hour mark. she did not give us a heads up that there was a setback in the kitchen at all, no warning or updates, she would just walk past us not even acknowledging us. when we got our food, it came in 2 parts because the biscuits and gravy and grits, of all things, was still being made !! when the food got there, one of our items was cold, and they took it off, and that was about the only thing they did right. once we got our food, our server did not return to see if everything was okay (it wasnt, the pancakes sucked) or to see if we needed more coffee. overall, this was an awful experience and we will not be returning again.

Satisfactory but Unremarkable. I saw another reviewer put it that way and it fits. Great menu. Nice people on the wait staff, but they are not great servers. Several tables that arrived after us ordered and ate before we received our food.

Our food seemed to be well prepared, but had obviously been prepared for a while before it was delivered. My eggs benedict was cold.
