Took 15 minutes to get seated (I get that cause it was a Sunday at 11:00 a.m.), but then took 55 min to get our food. Started timer as soon as we sat down and because of the wait to get seated, we knew what we wanted to order so placed order as soon as our waitress arrived. Place was packed and I could tell others were frustrated with the wait time. Food tasted good but my daughter's club wasn't warm and toasty because fries weren't ready and it was ready before my BLT. Spent $40 for lunch for 2.

I recently had brunch with some friends at the Bubbly Hen, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The atmosphere was classy and chic, with a cute and cozy vibe. I loved the bright and airy interior, and the blue wall featuring the logo was a nice touch. The menu features brunch all day, so it is a great place to visit for a leisurely meal.

The cold brew coffee was delicious, and the egg Benedict sampler was a great way to try a variety of flavors. My favorites were the green tomato and classic Benedict, but the crab cake one was a bit too crabby for my taste. I might just not have been in the mood for it that day.

Overall, the food was good, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend the Bubbly Hen to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable brunch experience.

Additional Notes:
* The Bubbly Hen is a great place to go for a boozy brunch. They have a variety of seasonal drinks to choose from.

Today I accidentally discovered and ate at The Bubbly Hen, a new brunch spot in Montgomery, at the Festival Plaza on Vaughn at Taylor (in the space once occupied by the Mellow Mushroom). My meal was delicious and distinctive. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a lot of natural light and an open kitchen. I will return soon and highly recommend it.

We came here for a Thursday morning brunch. The restaurant was about 1/4 full with the servers being very attentive. I had the chicken and waffles. It was cooked well, not oily, and the waffles were flavored well and crispy. I would have liked a little bit more spice or salt, but I corrected this with hot sauce on the chicken.

Really good food, very well prepared, tasted amazing. Josh, our server was very knowledgeable, would definitely come here again. Especially for the steak and eggs. Worth every penny.

Called at 10:30 to see if they could take a party of 11 and a high chair. Initially, the bartender who answered the phone told me no. I asked to speak to a manager who told me they should be able to take care of us.

We walked in a few minutes after 11, and they had a table ready for us—with 9 chairs and a high chair. I grabbed a chair from by the bathrooms and asked another server for the last chair we needed. I grabbed the 2 missing silverware from another table.

There were only three or four servers for the whole restaurant, so every server had between five and ten tables. It took more than 15 minutes to get our waters, and then it took another 45 minutes for our food to be delivered, two plates at a time over a 15 minute period.

My plate never came, and finally our server came to me with a menu saying they didn’t have my entree. I asked what was the fastest thing to make, and another 15 minutes later she brought my biscuits and gravy.

All of the plates are chipped, but the food tasted fine. Our server was sweet but she was terribly overwhelmed. No one apologized for the wait or the inconvenience, nothing was taken off my check. I never saw a manager.

I understand being busy or short staffed, but service and hospitality were completely absent today.

This restaurant has the potential to be nice, but this type of experience shows me we should try somewhere else next time.
