I tried my best to support black businesses, but unfortunately it’s hard to. I drove all the way from Birmingham Alabama to give this place a shot. The hours stated that they were open from 10 AM to 4 PM. I immediately went inside the store at 12 PM there were a couple of cupcakes sitting on the counter And then there were cakes that were inside of a cooler. I tried to purchase three but was denied because I was told that they have to be inside of the vending machine in order to make a purchase, which makes no sense during business hours after hours I can understand, but during business, why should I have to Wait for you to stock a vending machine go outside stand in line and then use my card. I really don’t understand this. I’m a long time KNJ elegant pastries customer but unfortunately, I don’t think that I would ever go back to this place because of the customer service that was provided To me, I spoke with other individuals that was outside waiting as well, and a young lady stated the same thing that she does not understand why the cakes would be placed in a vending machine during normal business hours. customers instead of sending them to a machine, maybe it would have been a better outcome

Very satisfied and will be a returning customer. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday and we both loved it. I showed them some inspo pics and they definitely hit the mark. Now the only critique I have is updating their website with correct hours because I had to make a few trips to catch them while they were there. (Closed hours earlier than online says) So I recommend going early in the morning but other than that. Chef’s kiss.

I stopped by a shop to quickly pick up some cakes, but instead of assisting me, a worker came to the front and yelled at me to park in front of another store that I had no intention of visiting. It was a disappointing experience. Just because I’m Asian doesn’t mean I was going to the Korean fried chicken restaurant next door. This kind of assumption is unacceptable.

Terrible customer service. I tried to order a bday cake for my son. Rolled her eyes and shook her head when I asked if she had pics of an army themed or Minecraft cake.....impatiently told me to check the website while she moved on to the next customer. Said it would be $200+ for that intricate of a cake. ........Said nevermind and got a cake from Publix. It wasn't the price......it was the lack of professionalism. Would not recommend.
I am very pleased with my cake and cupcakes! She did that! It was exactly what I asked for and it was delicious! I wish I lived closer…I would be there every week…I highly recommend her!!
They have fancy pictures on the website but that was not matched with what they offer. The counter is super dirty and all trays are empty. The front desk person is not responsive. They gave us semi-backed cupcakes. They were the worst cupcakes ever.

What I asked vs. what I got. At first, when I saw it, I liked it a lot. It looked like what I remembered in the picture but the more I looked at it the more I was disappointed. It’s a little bit sloppy and it’s vibrant pink instead of light pink. I could look past that though but then I cut into it, it was very dry and it’s really tall but it’s 3 extremely thick layers of dense dry cake. There was a very thin layer of frosting in between the layers which did not help with the dryness. Not at all worth $145. Should’ve stuck to the grocery stores.
