The breading on the shrimp, oysters was crispy and great flavor. Large shrimp, great cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Good view of the river from deck which is built around trees. The unique corn ribs had good flavor. The deck and windows Need a good cleaning but the food is good.

First off, the “marinated” coleslaw wasn’t good at all. Is it just left to set in oil or something? The coleslaw I’m used to is far more delicious than capitol oyster bar. There was no coleslaw dressing in site! Mayo, lemon juice/vinegar… nothing. & 2 HUSHPUPPIES on a catfish meal that cost $17. The option to set on the back deck is fantastic, but there is a cart in the far left corner that you can tell has NOT been moved in months, maybe years. Leaves & things growing all over it. That corner isn’t appealing at all. Probably the only complaints I personally have, I will return bc the food was good but I know now what not to order so far.

Our waitress was very nice and had a great sense of humor. Everything was cooked properly, had good flavor and not stingy with the portions. Lol We sat out on the patio and had a nice little breeze on a hot day. They also have fans mounted and adjustable to make it more pleasant on those hot hot days.
This is the second time I have been there; but the first was several years ago. I had the whole catfish and loved it. 🤘

Awesome place. Walked in by myself and quickly settled in at the bar thanks to the great staff. The food is absolutely awesome. Make sure to get the Argentina Shrimp. Don’t think I’ve ever had better shrimp.

Food is un or severely under seasoned. Grilled catfish and grilled chicken tenders had a bad burnt taste. Crawfish sauce was severely lacking in seasoning, fried chicken tenders (kids) was dry and had no seasoning in the breading. Prices are high for the lack of flavor and poor cooking techniques used. Location is amazing, service was fine, but without good food- there’s no reason to return.

My Son was at the RV park for a year . These people are the absolute best both at the Marina and the Oyster Bar. The food is great and the beer is cold. So glad to have gotten to know them. The Bartender is Awesome and so is the waite staff. My Son enjoyed his year there and they made him feel right at home... Cheers Sid
