I gave two because the service was fine….. and the restroom clean, but im feeling sorry for what passes as good Mexican cuisine in Alabama. This is the second Mexican restaurant I’ve visited here and I think all flavor leaves your plate once out of Texas. ?♀️ steak tastes like the flat grill it was cooked on, un-marinated, tough and greasy. The veggies i asked for super greasy. No good salsa. Dirty bar glass i was served a mineral water in began to bubble up the tajin from the last persons drink. Thanks for being so nice but the food is awful. I’ll just go home where the food is authentic not out of a can, make the salsa we go to a restaurant for fresh food , not canned consequences. The only thing that tasted right was the fresh side of avocado. Y’all need some help. Find a GENUINE cook. Have a good one. And good luck in your business ventures, hope this critic wasn’t too hard on ya?
Margaritas were good. I ordered 2 beef tacos that came to the table cold so much so where the cheese didn't melt none. I will only return for the margaritas
Chips and salsa was good but the rest was average or below. Refried Beans seemed watered down. Out of multiple beers. Chile Rellano was soggy. People were nice.
Excellent chili relleno, fresh chips, delicious salsa. Best service. Authentic food. We just “happened” upon this place but will return today.
Very good and fresh- had carne asada and camarones asados. All grilled and wonderful with fresh salad on the side.
The driest chimichanga I’ve ever had. No lettuce, tomatos, sour cream or quac. You get one average size quesadilla and that’s it. No way to make special requests on delIveries either.
Best Mexican food.Awesome margaritas
I love this place the food is so good and they are not busy as they should be, not to mention drinks are perfectly made every time, when me and my girls want to get out and enjoy good Mexican food this is our go to, they make sure your satisfied before leaving .
Not your typical Mexican restaurant where every food item taste similar to others. I suggest trying the Mexican sausage.
Had dinner here recently for the first time and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, tasted wonderful and the service was very attentive. I definitely will eat here again.

The food was authentic and delicious. Margaritas were the perfect blend, not too tart and not too sweet. The service was fast and good. The outdoor seating on a sunny day was comfortable. It's a good addition to this area.
Visited here a couple of days ago with some friends. I ordered the Steak with Shrimp ($16.99), I asked for medium.. It came in a big serving with maybe 8pcs. of shrimp on top. It was really good and tender.. The rice that came with it is only a small portion, like good for 5 bites. Along sith the red beans that is also delicious. Our orders came fast too, less than 20mins. of waiting time. The place isn't crowded as we've expected on a friday evening.. We'll surely try to come back again. Oh, Service charge of 15% is automatically added to the bill.
Great food and service at a great price!
Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices. The chips and salsa were pretty good, my entree was the Fajitas Texasana and it was fantastic.
Restaurant was closed due to a 49 on a health score. Reopened later with 85 (still bad)Doubtful many people know how health inspections are treated. Restaurants are supposed to be regularly inspected. Being that they got a 49 then they were forced to close and still unable to ascertain anything above a 90, with my experience in the food service, I would not walk in the door of this place for fear of disease. Several of the citations in the report were absolutely mind blowing, such as "mold in the ice maker" or "dirty dishes stored with clean dishes" and the one the makes my jaw hit the floor "several employee hand sinks did not have soap or hand towels" This means that for at least months at a time, employees were not washing their hands while working. Also taking the time to note here that one of the citations was "employees working with bare hands with ready to eat food"It is important to understand that it is obvious that not a single employee has ever been trained on food safety with all of these citations and another one to add to prove it "there was no person with manager food safe certification on site"No one who was trained by the state to understand food safety was working during the inspection. A person with this certificate is required to be on site during all hours of operation for Restaurants.I received Managers ServeSafe Food Safe Certificate in 2018
