Food is always delicious. The booths could use a refurbish! Not comfy.

The ribeye steak was thin, cheap quality, not well seasoned, and dry. Blackened potatoes were old, poorly seasoned, and terribly hard and dry. Must have been sitting around all day. Fried oysters and shrimp, while seasoned well, were very small. Salad had one tomato and two tiny croutons. Glass of wine was less than half a glass. $135 dollars for three people before tip (no appetizers, no soft drinks). Difficult to justify ever going back. Definitely better places in Montgomery to eat for food quality and value. Disappointing…

Pretty darn good. Cleanliness could of been a bit better but overall it was nice. The place is really nice and the theme and decorations are awesome

Follow up visit and the salad is horrible. More like garnish. Its a shame what they trying to pass off as a salad

As usual, my dining experience at Charles Anthony's did not disappoint. The grilled rainbow trout was delicious ?! What I can say in all truthfulness is that the quality of the food and the friendly service is always consistent. I've never had a bad experience at this restaurant. You can tell they aim to please their customers. I rate it a 5 out of 5.

The reservation policy at this place is one person get to the door and hold the line for as many people as you can. I’m glad Itta Bena was able to accommodate my party with much better food anyway. Itta Bena saved the day!

The food was really good and the service was good too. My challenges are minor, but something I expect from a restaurant of this caliber: 1) the waiter didn't know what bourbons were available. In fact, he told me something wasn't available, but it was. 2) When I order an old fashion somewhere like Charles Anthony, I expect them to use the right cherries, and they didn't.

I can't stress enough that the food was good and I would go back.

Tried several food items over the span of a week since it's close to the holiday inn next door. Their soups are very good. She crab soup is creamy and tasty. The gumbo is spicy and has great flavor. The reeses peanut butter pie is really extravagant and tasty.

Everything else falls a bit short. The chopped steak isn't very good. The gravy is jarringly salty. The sauteed crab claws has excessive wine that wasn't cooked out properly. Good flavor despite that though although the price is extremely steep for just crab claws.

Overall a mixed bag of quality items and disappointing items but a good experience.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Al behind the bar made sure everything was on point. My only critique is to add more bourbon to your rotation. Old Forester 1910 or 1920 would be a great start.
