The old-looking interior and dim lighting made me anticipate the meal. The fried oysters were delicious, but overall, the food was overly salty, especially the crab sauce and salad dressing. The steak was a bit tough. The food wasn't great for the price. However, the young woman who served us that day was incredibly professional.
Nice portions, service for the large group we had was good, but everyone commented about their meals were very salty. The green beanstalk I ordered were over cooked and too salty. I expected sautéed green beans, but hey were musty.

Merle was our server who did an outstanding job taking care of us. The food was awesome and the chef personally came out to speak with one of us and made changes requested to the menu for us. Steaks and seafood were awesome. The restaurant was comfortable and we enjoyed our time there after traveling from out of state. We will definitely be back when we pass through again.
