This is my go-to Chinese place for takeout! I love the food, and I try to get something different each time I visit. The prices are fair, and the portions are sizable. Best of all, the owners are the kindest and friendliest people I know in town! They always remember my name and even my orders when I sometimes reorder my previous one! I highly recommend everyone to try China Chef if you're up for high quality, fresh, and delicious Chinese takeout!

As time passes these business be going down . Service was awful , the man was extremely rude and barely let you get out what u have to say . And the food 0 stars , you can tell they reheat the food , I wouldn’t be surprised if food is prepared beginning of the week and served until gone . General Tso chicken tasted very gummy & the chicken was stringy as if it was previously cooked and over heated same with the egg rolls . I recommend the Chinese place in eastchase food always fresh & very tasty .

I have been eating here for years and one of the reasons I chose this place is because it reminds me of my hometown Chinese restaurant Peking Garden. Over the course of time I have experienced different tastes with the exact same meal. I have had perfect, I have experienced old grease taste, and I think it may have made me sick. So I decided to stay away for a while to see if anything changes. I can say that they lady seems to be extremely tired, exhausted maybe. She always has this look on her face that lets you know something is bothering her. The poor kids are always in the lobby or behind the counter and I honestly think that is no place for kids to be. She needs to just stay home and let the men do the work because it's just not right. I'm praying that she finds peace but to be honest I think today was my last time eating here.

The worst experience in Montgomery Chinese Chef restaurant, Nasty old grease expire taste pork fried rice not bean sprouts,not egg,green onions,wonton soup the same & the shrimp old musty refried nasty old grease taste also really bad at the same time finish eating at Popeye across T/A truck stop 🛑 don’t order from this place stay away so don’t get sick.
