Antique little hotdog restaurant. The staff was interesting (drunk), but they did eventually get us something to eat. We asked for certain things on the menu but were told we would get what they had. Also told to drop the tip on the floor under the table because that way they don't have to share it.

I’m from out of town. The staff were completely rude and disrespectful, completely ignoring me as soon as I walked in. The hygiene was appalling, and they handled the food with zero care. I called ahead, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, but when I arrived, they hadn’t even started making my order. The entire experience was a disaster, and I or anybody I know won’t be wasting our time here again. Absolutely terrible!

Drove over an hour from Alexander City, arrived 5 p.m. the door and website said they were open till 6 p.m. upon entry was refused service stating they were closed. Will not be back and will tell every soul I know.

I'm sure we caught em on a bad day, but this place has tumbled downhill over the years. The longtime waitress was fussing with everyone and had a particular issue with the cashier, but wasn't happy with the cook much either.
The verbal attacks were unprofessional, ridiculous, and embarrassing.
Our food orders took forever, were incorrect when they arrived, and I also got Coke vs Tea, then corrected to Tea, but it was sweet, vs half and half.
Felt badly that I took someone there. Won't be back until a changing of the guard occurs and the atmosphere is a little more professional.
This place has been around over 100 years, and their sauce is a novelty, but I can't recommend them at this time. It saddens me to say that.

Today makes 3 times attempted to purchase hotdogs on a Saturday. I was there 12/5/24 around 5:45 pm with the employees telling me they were closed because they just got slammed and had no where to sit as she was throwing out a double handful of buns. Told her I wanted to go and she said no they were closed. Tonight 12/16/24 I got there at 4:45pm with all employees walking out and older gentlemen next to me saying I was only customer in past hour. I said they were supposed to be open till 6pm. Nothing was said as everyone went to their cars. Lights off and locked! This means they quit serving way before then!! What does it take to get chris' hotdogs on Saturdays??? I just don't understand!!!
