The food order was wrong
The service was horrible
The restaurant was dirty
Staff seemed overwhelmed
We visited on Sunday at lunch time, and they were busy as would be expected. However, we were seated quickly. When we arrived at the table, we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Our waitress was quick to come. She seemed to get our order correct because she read it back accurately. I’m not sure if it was the waitress or the kitchen, but our order came out in pieces, and we had not yet gotten utensils. We had to wait a while to get them. I got the wrong bread, and my wife ordered crispy bacon which came out much less than crispy. My wife said the rest room had a very offensive odor. She pointed this out to the manager who said she had sprayed it earlier. Obviously, the spray did not help. This location just did not seem to be up to par with most Cracker Barrels.
Today I almost swallowed a warning label that was at the bottom of my glass of water. I ordered the hashbrown casserole. The onions were huge and there was obvious spoilage on the biggest piece. It’s not the first time we’ve been to this establishment, there is usually an issue with the food or service. Would not recommend.
Lauren is very hospitable..sweet Girl. Too good for cracker barrel.

We had a great experience thanks to our waitress, Lauren. She was very patient with our group and was very attentive to our needs.
We had the best experience with our waitress tonight named Lauren. She was quick, had the best customer service, and made our dining experience amazing! Oh and the food was DELISH!
Lauren was an amazing waitress! The food was amazing as always but the service really made the trip.
My server Kai was theeeee BEST! She was so sweet, so polite, and built such great rapport! My food was just as amazing as the service! Would highly recommend this location!

Tammy was very nice and the food was good!!
Exceptional Service from Pam! I had the pleasure of being served by Pam during my recent visit to the Cracker Barrel in Montgomery, and I can’t say enough good things about her! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Pam was attentive, kind, and incredibly efficient—she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure everything was just right. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with genuine hospitality the way she does. She truly made our dining experience special, and we’ll definitely be back thanks to her outstanding service. Cracker Barrel is lucky to have someone like Pam on their team!

Our wait time was only about 20 minutes which was not bad for a Sunday morning around 10:45. The hostess was very polite upon seating us at a unwiped table. She immediately began wiping it off before placing our menus down. Our server came within 5 minutes of being seated and took our drink order. I noticed a family of 3 that had been seated about 10 minutes before us. They had still not placed their order at the time we were getting our drinks. I had to stop our server and ask for flatware since we didn’t have anything to stir our coffee with. Our service was acceptable and we received almost everything at the same time. The biscuits were later coming out to the table and were barely warm. The dining room was getting quite busy at this time and I noticed that the family of three had still not received their food. They did have their drinks by this time. I made the comment to my husband that three other tables had already received their food and this particular table had not. I was getting upset for them because I felt the servers were so busy that they were not able to properly provide good customer service. When their food finally arrived, they still had to wait on flatware to eat with. There were two other tables besides us that had to request to get flatware after the food had arrived.
It is this writers opinion that the servers were being too overwhelmed at one time to pay close attention to the small details and to provide acceptable customer service. The kitchen staff were also overwhelmed and were struggling to get the food prepared and ready for the servers due to the volume of guests being seated so close together. When we were leaving, the family of three were finally getting their flatware to start eating. Remember, they were seated 10 minutes before us and the table next to us. Yet both of us had already eaten and were leaving by the time their food got to their table. It is my opinion their meal should have been compted and they were owed an apology! When I got to the register I requested to speak to a manager. When the manager came up, I explained to her what had happened and made the suggestion to at they should slow down the customers being seated to give the kitchen staff and servers time to catch up so that they could have a more positive experience. The manager never said a word. She just looked at me and never said anything. I apologized for giving her my opinions but that as a former restaurant owner and manager, I felt she should be aware of the situation that was occurring and how the customers were feeling. Still no response from her. Since I got absolutely no response from her whatsoever, I turned and walked away. As a customer experiencing the disarray, I felt she needed to be made aware of what was happening in her dining room that she was responsible for. If you’re not aware of an issue, you can’t take corrective measures to adjust it. In my experience it would have been a simple solution to fix and give staff a time to regroup and adjust in order to make the dining experience for the customers a more positive one.
Parking: Due to the quantity of customers, parking was at a standstill. Most all of the close spaces were full and those with disabilities had to be either dropped off or had to walk quite a ways from the back of the parking lot.
