This place gets pretty busy at lunch as well as loud! They have a small lunch menu designed to appeal by virtue of relatively inexpensive meals. brought a group of students here and this place reeks of weed. Chicken looks like it came out of bag , cheese is thick. No drink refills . charged auto gratuity but did nothing for us and found out before we left there is a big/ full menu that we weren’t offered. guess you have to ask for that.

Cucos Mexican Café is an absolute gem for Tex-Mex lovers! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
Liked it back in the 80s every Wed night out on Eastern bypass. Downtown i did not like as well but they were nice to me.

My first time there and it was great customer service...we went around 7:30pm Saturday and it was a DJ playing music..I would recommend not to take children at night...seems more of an adult scene which is fine..overall food was great.

Parking: If you're getting there peak lunch time hours, good luck on parking. I've had to walk a block or two. Thankfully Montgomery isn't that big so it wasn't a big deal, just don't expect a doorside parking spot during their busiest time.
