I have been playing pool in Montgomery for several years and when you play pool with APA you only have 3 pool halls to choose from during my time. I used Deja Vu as my home pool hall for several years, but in the last 6 months there has been a decline in the level of service and the general upkeep of the establishment. In October of 2023, a competing bar went smoke free, so I switched for health reasons. Deja Vu used to let me bring my own water cup inside, but I was told that was against the health code, which I know is not true, since I worked for public health and fact checked their comment. I still have to play her occasionally, but I miss the positive vibes, good food and bartenders that would greet you by name.

I think its a great place but should be smoke free or have a smoke free side...I think more people would enjoy it that way. I had fun my first time but probably wouldn't go back because of the smoke.

Great place minus the smoke. But looking to have a good time socializing, this is the hub of Montgomery! Bar is pricey but plenty of tables at least 8 and you may be on the waiting list. Good music!Overall, this is the place to come if you don't mind smoke.
