Really good bbq.. I had the nachos with beef and chicken and a side of macaroni and cheese. My son is picky and loved the grilled cheese and banana pudding. Nice little restaurant with a cute outdoor area. Would come back again.

I stopped in here recently and brought along a friend, Charles, who’s going through a rough patch and is currently homeless. Too many places will give side eyes or treat folks differently in that situation but not here. The staff showed nothing but kindness and respect, no judgments, no funny looks, just real hospitality.
The food was good but what really stuck with me was how accommodating they were. They even let me place an order a day ahead so I could make sure Charles had something to eat the next day. That gesture meant a lot.
I take folks out to eat pretty often while I’m traveling and Dreamland BBQ has been one of the best experiences I’ve had. Respect and kindness go a long way and this place gets it right.

Plenty of selections for appetizers, meats, and sides. I got the ribs & sausage. Sauce available on the side. I'm typically picky in that area and it was a big hit. Unsweetened iced tea and a side of banana pudding topped it off real nice. Good friendly people throughout. Fun atmosphere but not too loud to be overstimulating. I absolutely would come here again.

Dreamland BBQ is the perfect spot for comfort food done right. The BBQ is absolutely delicious—especially the pulled pork burger, which was excellent, and the stew, which was rich and tasty. Every dish feels hearty and satisfying.
The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, creating the kind of place where you just want to relax and enjoy great food with friends or family.
Overall, a fantastic experience—great food, great service, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Solid BBQ joint in downtown Montgomery. A local favorite, usually pretty busy no matter when you go. BBQ is of course the main thing, but several other meat options to choose from. It isn’t gourmet or the best ever, but it’s tasty and reliable every time. Full bar, well staffed, fun place, sports on the TV, good for groups.

Would not recommend.
We had a large party, but It took 15 minutes to be addressed, no water, no drinks, The entire time the bartender is eating at the bar.
It may have been better if we sat at the bar, but the place was virtually empty.
Service was ultra slow, the beers were not good. But most importantly the food was lacking. The mac and cheese was good as was the bbq sauce, but the ribs were ultra dry and had no meat on them. I pay led the upcharge for center cut ribs and they looked identical to the guy next who me wo ordered regular ribs.
This was the only time I left a BBQ place hungry. Their other food looked ok, but Im not on for a second chance.

The best part of our visit to Dreamland BBQ in Montgomery wasn’t the food — it was spending time with my family and chatting with our waitress. She was refreshingly honest and even admitted she doesn’t eat the food here, and after trying it, I can see why.
The highlight of the meal for me was actually their version of an Arnold Palmer (I can’t remember what they call it, but it was delicious!). Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The mac and cheese was nothing more than macaroni with a bland cheese sauce, the potato salad was just okay, and while the ribs were meaty, they lacked flavor. The only seasoning seemed to come from the spicy BBQ sauce, which didn’t quite make up for the blandness of the meat.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed. With a name as well-known as Dreamland, I expected more.

Service was amazing. Food on the hand was not so good
Mac n cheese is a boxed tasteless noodles
Wings are not smoked or really fried. They are not seasoned and the drizzle of sauce or the sauce on the side do any for them.
The chicken on that salad had no taste.
Rib tips were good
French fries had no seasoning but tasted good with salt and pepper.
