We normally go to the original location in Tuscaloosa, but we have visited this one a few times and it's extremely inconsistent with it's times. We have gone when they say they're open only to find them closed or they're drive-through only. Our son has been deployed to Poland for a year & came home today. We asked him what he wanted to eat & he said, "Dreamland!" We loaded up and drove into Montgomery after checking to be sure they still closed at 9pm. We got there at 7pm. The sign on the door said they close at 9pm, but the doors were locked. A lady came around to tell us they were drive-through only. They should just change their times on Google and on their door.

I don’t usually right reviews but this experience was disappointing. They close the dine-in area 2 hours earlier than their drive-thru line. It is currently 7:17 at night. The lady came to the door and said the drive thru will remain open. Sign says they close at 9:00pm. This was going to be our first family dinner after spending a year deployed overseas. Have to find another place to celebrate. I’m not mad. Just disappointed. A gentleman outside said they usually try closing the inside area this early. Definitely deters me from coming back to this particular site for a while.

Suuuupppperrrrr slow service, although she was nice.Took 5 mins to see a server.Another 10 minutes for drinks.Another 10 minutes to order.10 minutes for food, not bad.20 minutes waiting on the check.Plus the sandwich was so soggy you couldn’t pick it up.Definitely no where near as good as the original, or other locations for that matter.

I don’t usually write reviews but this deserved a review. I ordered online for my work and they accidentally forgot one of my items. I called back and they were happy to not only serve the food that was forgotten but gave me a larger size, and a whole extra order of banana pudding too. Customer service you can’t makeup.

We placed a Saturday pickup order and it, was the most awful barbecue I ever had. Pulled pork and chicken ribs baked beans, fried okra and macaroni. The okra was good. The rest of the food was old and there was no smoky flavor at all. When I picked it up it didn't smell like barbecue at all. The taste proved it.
The barbecue is good. I don't like the sauce, but it does come in a separate container. The slaw and orka are good.Parking: Plenty of parking space

The Cobb Salad with boneless rib tips was very delicious. I was impressed with the amount of meat on the salad.

Food was subpar. Some things were great, and others were Mediocre. The fried okra was good, breading was light and not too greasy. Not served with a dip, which would make it better. Liked the pork but my spouse got ribs. Having it as a BBQ restaurant in thr south with a special place for from the pit on the menu, we had high hopes. Ribs were definitely reheated and tough. This was disappointing. Beans were fine but canned. We would says the atmosphere on the patio was great and our server was so kind.Likely wouldn't come back if we travel to the area again.Kid-friendliness: Had 2 toddlers. Everything was pretty friendly. Had changing table and Styrofoam items so nothing they could break, although I hate using Styrofoam and my child poked a hole through the cup with his straw.
