Excellent food, great service! I was shocked to see a Venezuelan spot in Montgomery of all places. I went in for lunch and they were serving a buffet style menu. The server asked what I would like and I said I was hoping that I could order off the menu. I told her I was first-gen Venezuelan American and was just looking for some VZ comfort food. The owner/chef heard us talking and came out of the kitchen and told me to grab a seat and she'd whip it right up. You cant get service like that anywhere else and the food was so authentic and so good. I go out of my way anytime I'm passing through Montgomery just to stop in and grab food here. Pro tip - the Guasacaca sauce is the best!

The food was delicious and the dining experience was closer to eating with extended family than at a restaurant. I spoke with Janet, the cook, and she is as amazing as her food. We dined in during the hot bar and tried everything available and nothing disappointed. Was my first visit, but I intend to be a regular.

To be fair, I went with another party not knowing what the heck this place served. That's on me. That said, no menu. Asked if I want water or tea. No soda? Just given a salad, then told to go to the front and pick out what I want to eat without knowing what 'it' is. Picked the chicken breast and some rice. Meh as meh could be. Then, because I'm not provided a menu, a $26 dollar bill is dropped on me. Nope, not into this place at all, but maybe that's for you to decide.

Wonderful local find! This is a great small establishment with authentic Venezuelan cuisine. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Service is hands-on and guinine. Very family oriented style of operations. I would recommend to anyone visiting or residing in the Montgomery area!
