It is possible the fish tacos are made with fish sticks....

When we entered the young lady who took our order was very helpful. Upon receiving our food it was cold so I sent it back and let them knew well when they brought it back out you could tell it was redip in the grease it was hard my grit and eggs were still cold my shrimp was hard and salty which were also redip back in the grease the chicken taste like it was battered with the fish we never received our oysters which we had to get a refund for our first experience was horrible. I will not be coming back

I was really looking forward to returning here after having a great experience around the same time last year, but unfortunately, this visit was a major letdown.

When we arrived, the person taking our order told us to order at the counter, wait for the pager, and then pick up our food ourselves. I asked for the shrimp and grits but was told they were out — only to see a nearby table, who was receiving full table service, get served shrimp and grits shortly after we sat down.

When our pager finally went off, I went to get the food but couldn’t carry it all. A staff member handed me a tray that was too small, and instead of offering to help, they just stood and watched while I made multiple trips.

Once we sat down, the food didn’t make up for the poor service. The French toast was disappointing, and everything was served with flimsy plastic utensils, a hotel-sized syrup container, and a tiny cup of fruit — which made the whole experience feel very cheap, especially for the price. The food was so underwhelming we didn’t even finish it.

Overall, the service and quality just weren’t there. I will not be back again and do not recommend this place. It was a completely different experience from my last visit — and not in a good way.

I have to agree with the other poster about the food....it was really terrible. We were shocked we had to get our own food. I had to carry a huge tray to our table. We asked for a glass of water to go along with our drinks we got at the bar and we were told to get water at the fountain and not even offered a cup to go fetch the water from said water fountain. Overall, the food is absolutely overpriced. I can't remember having a cheeseburger so bad in a long time. I couldn't even eat the fries. The burger texture looked like canned pet food and the bun was so soggy from the grease that we couldn't finish eating it. We won't be back.

The Greek salad with grilled chicken was great, and the hostess and cook that brought our food out were both wonderful!

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and decided this place just isn’t very good. Service is slow (on my most recent visit it took nearly a half hour for me to get my food) and not because they’re jam packed. You wait for twenty or thirty minutes for your food, and then you have to go pick it up from a counter by the bar. Given the price and the wait, I would have expected table-side service. The food isn’t very good, and it’s definitely not worth the price you pay. I’ve tried the fish tacos with fruit and the chicken Caesar wrap with “house made” chips. The wrap was better than the tacos, but still pretty heavy on the romaine and light on the chicken and Parmesan. The Caesar dressing tasted more like a vinaigrette. The chips were okay, but nothing to write home about. I’m annoyed that I wasn’t told that there’s a $1 charge for the Eddy’s Sauce (basically Thousand Island dressing) with my chips. Don’t bother with the “fresh fruit;” it tasted like it came out of a can. Each of those meals cost north of $15. I’ll be passing on this place from now on.

We went on Wednesday and had a delicious hamburger. So we came back on Sunday and the hamburger was awful! I probably should have complained but I didn’t want to cause a scene as the place was crowded. The staff is fine BUT the time you wait after placing the order is very long. And for the burger to be below average makes no sense. I think they’re overpriced for the quality of the food. Eating outside and overlooking the rapids is really nice. I certainly hope Eddy’s is sharing some profits with the Park. Perhaps the Park is charging a huge lease rate to Eddy’s.

My low score is for chicken and waffles...for $20 bucks you get what looks like 3 little pigeon wings and the waffle wasn't hot....this dish to be priced for that amount of food should be like ten bucks.

Ordered from the Brunch offering. My companions had red velvet waffles and chicken as well as the catfish with Gouda grits. They enjoyed the meal, they also ordered parfait but was told, ' they ran out'. They opened at 11 am, we got there at 11:30 am. It was not busy. Me on the other hand ordered the shrimp with grits (hold the cheese). Was told by the Manager only after the food got to the table. "All the grits options on the menu had cheese! You can get a refund or order something else."
I was put off by this but ordered the chicken and red velvet waffles. They were ok.
The taste of the food was already tainted by the cold uninterested demeanor of the Manager.
As you would guess no tip was given (have you noticed everyone is adding tips before service these days?). I opt out until service is given. I will not be forced into gratuity until it is gratuitous.

The atmosphere and the ambiance of the outside activities and the setting for talking and fellowship was very nice and me and my family was coming in from out of town and decided to experience this restaurant for the first time, and for the prices of this food I would have thought I would have had a more enjoyable time but no it was overpriced and the service was terrible so needless to say we won't be visiting this establishment again. The service and the look of the food were NOT up to par not even a little bit. If I could have given the food and service less than 1 star I definitely would have. First the service was terrible, reason I say the LOOK of the food was mediocre was because I waited 20 whole minutes along with my cousin to get our food and this was after I had ordered and come from the restroom, after the food sat and my drink had sat on a table and gotten watered down, no one let me know it was sitting there or anything oand I stood and waited so long the food had gotten cold and not appetizing and plus I didn't even get my whole meal so I could go sit and eat, I then had to wait for my drink and condiments an extra few minutes to get my completed meal, I got angry my food had gotten cold by that time so I just got a refund for the whole meal. The manager of course had an attitude about it and not very professional at all but he did give me my refund so that was the importance to me.
Again if visiting Montgomery Alabama I do not recommend this place for your dining experience, now the activities looked fun for the kids and even adults as well but I specifically went to whitewater to experience the restaurant and left very disappointed .....and hungry

Kid-friendliness: They had many activities that the kids would enjoy and even the adults would enjoy!!

This place came highly recommended. Not impressed at all. I witnessed numerous order screw ups. This put the kitchen way behind. There were a lot of people waiting way too long for mediocre food.
There is a similar concept in Charlotte, N.C. that i've also visited. These are two unrelated businesses. Not sure how much longer this place is going to be around.

Parking: lots of it.

Kid-friendliness: Things for everyone to do.

Wheelchair accessibility: large and wide ramps.

Bar service needs a lot of work. Highest margin part of a restaurant and Eddy's could crank out drinks in 5x the time. People would want to come back. Also recommend chopping the food menu in half and maximize the quality of like 3 items. Burger was nearly mcdonalds quality.
