my husband and I just ate here. ordered the chips and salsa (not free like 99.9% of all Mexican restaurants) chips were good most of ours were crumbles from like the bottom of the bin, got the Pico salsa and it had waaaay to much cilantro. Too much cilantro makes things taste like soap. my husband had the burrito with shrimp, I had the chicken burrito. He enjoyed his, me, not so much. 3 bites and just couldn't eat it. it was bland. El Rey's is one of my favorite places to visit! Love the atmosphere, food, and especially my absolute favorite drink of all the time - the Nice Margaritas!!
