The real test of barbecue is simple, is it smoked enough and moist enough to not need barbecue sauce? The answer at Fat Man's Barbecue is an astounding yes!

Ribs - BBQ smoke flavor the entire way through and very moist. I had four of them and only use the tiny bit of barbecue sauce once just to see what the flavor was like.

Pork- HOLY PIG! It is very rare that you get smoked pulled pork that is smoked the entire way through and also so moist it does not need barbecue sauce. This one however, is both of those things! They do add a little bit of vinegar and sugar after they pull it which gives it a nice sweet taste, so it does not need barbecue sauce either.

Wings - crazy, crazy, crazy moist! Smoke flavor the whole way through and a delight to eat.

I'm not a fan of hole-in-the-wall BBQ places. In my personal opinion $15+ per person could be spent better. And family BBQ joints get elbow to elbow busy in a way I don't fool with. But my better half drug me here a few months back and let me tell you this hole is something special. $17 and some change buys us both heaping plates of food (we get the pork fries) and drinks. I'm a sauce fanatic and they've got a few good ones, but the pork sings without any help. The place is aways clean. The service is lightning fast but we go on weekends when business is slower. I've never seen the weekday lunchtime rush but would probably brave it if I worked close enough. They are very friendly but don't have to be. They could be downright rude and I'd be back again and again. Food this good can do some heavy lifting. They could cut corners with everything else but they don't. They could charge an arm and a leg but they don't. This place is a gem.

Service was quick ,food was very good of course should have known it would be good with all the Military and Law Enforcement and Fire Personnel that were eating there when I pulled up. I will be Back. It was reasonably priced also.

Had my lunch from Fat Man’s BBQ. Ordered pulled pork salad as recommended by a buddy. Honestly I was impressed. Too bad I don’t stay in the area. But I will drop by if I am!

At lunch I ordered the #4 pulled pork combo with fries & fountain drink. All the food was hot, cold fountain drink and delicious sweet tea today! The fries are great, (when fresh). The sandwich was very plentiful & a decent value for the money.
Stays packed so be aware! Great staff everyday
