Karen is delightful and so is her bakery. I love the ginger scone and spinach mushroom quiche (and I don’t really like mushrooms!) She made two quiches and an assortment of scones for a brunch with friends. I ended up freezing one quiche to make the next weekend and it was still perfect. Nice selection of thoughtful gifts too. Hope to attempt one of her classes soon!
Fennel & Figs has my favorite scones — the ginger and jalapeño cheddar are the best anywhere. Her lavender shortbread is a revelation. Keep an eye on the Instagram page for specials (and to find out when she’s got cinnamon rolls). Coffee is always on the house. One of Montgomery’s best small businesses!
