We came to eat here and it says the inside doesn’t close until 9. We still had an hour. All of the employees including the manager had closed us out. There were 6 vehicles in the lot wanting to get in and they wouldn’t let us in. I called the manager to ask why it said they closed at 9 but wouldn’t let us inside and she hung up on me.

French fries were way overcooked. The chicken strips are just so so.

I know one thing for sure I won’t be coming back to Guthrie’s. It’s ridiculous to get only 12 fries in a meal. For the price, the portions are a joke. Do better. Total $24.17

Kind of pricey to only be serving chicken fingers.

20 bucks for the scrawniest, most over salted chicken tenders you’ll ever buy.

Was a quick stop from the interstate. I never tried it so gave it a shot. I was not impressed with the food. At least the young adults in there had great customer service.

Last time coming to this place for me. Not only did they give me the wrong drink but I saw a lady spilled a bunch of tops on to the floor pick them up and then put them in the holder for use. So several of these tops had Direct contact with the floor and we'll go into contact with people's food

Guthrie’s Chicken Review

If you’re craving simple, no-frills Southern comfort food, Guthrie’s delivers exactly that — and then some. Known as the original chicken finger restaurant, Guthrie’s sticks to what they do best: golden, crispy chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, buttery Texas toast, coleslaw, and that famous Guthrie’s Sauce.

The chicken is consistently juicy on the inside with a perfectly seasoned crunch on the outside — not greasy, just right. The portion sizes are generous, and the box combo (fingers, fries, toast, slaw, and sauce) hits every craving in one shot. Their signature sauce is tangy, creamy, and slightly peppery — dangerously addictive and definitely worth asking for an extra.

Service is usually fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is casual — great for a quick bite or a late-night food run. Prices are fair for the quality and amount of food you get.

Overall, Guthrie’s is a go-to spot for classic, satisfying fried chicken done right. It may not be fancy, but when you want quality comfort food, it more than delivers.
