They've lost their appeal & customer service at the new location. As former patrons who frequented them often off Air Base, Island Delight is no longer a delight. The rude cashier who can't or won't accept payments, servers who don't know their tables.. won't provide to go boxes. This was a horrible experience all around.

The vibe and atmosphere was great. The Mac and cheese was more buttery than cheesey. It was also cold. The oxtails were good but they gave me 2 pieces and the rest was just bone covered with gravy. A bit pricey for some sorrel.

First, I would like to know why am I paying gratuity on a take out order automatically??Second, the menue had a price of 11$, but I was charged 14$ for my dish. So please update the menus.Other than that, the fish was pretty tasty. I had the Plant based Escoveitch fish less fillers, I hope. One person said it was tofu, but another employee said that it was not tofu.Rice and beans were a little dry. My sides were smaller compared to others. So, I'm not sure if they just looked out for their regular customers. This was my 1st visit, but I'm not sure if I'll return.Vegetarian options: Plant based Escoveitch fish less fillers ND cool running smoothie.
The food is amazing I've had the Jerk Chicken with white rice and macaroni and cheese and the curry chicken with rice and macaroni and cheese. The service has been phenomenal every time I have gone.

Amazing food! I had the Jamaican jerk chicken with rice & peas, cabbage & plantain. That chicken was one of the best jerk chickens I've ever had! Amazing flavor throughout the dish! I gave it one less stars because it seemed like they needed more servers. Although we were the first big crowd to come in & finish our food, the waitress checked out a whole other crowd while we waited forever for a check. She needed more help!
