Great place for seafood in montgomery.

My daughter and I eat at this restaurant today. It was packed full of local people. This is always a good sign. The food was fantastic. Our server Virginia was amazing. Such a fantastic server. She was really friendly. My daughter was nervous about taking her civil test today and she really put my daughter‘s mind at Rest. Really appreciate it.. Virginia went above and beyond what is expected as a server food was amazing.

Perfect portions and fair prices. No complaints at all.

Portions were generous and full of flavor.

So much fun. The band was great.

Nice atmosphere, nice service, good, inexpensive food. The two of us were very satisfied. We have been traveling from north to south for two weeks.

Kitchy beach atmosphere. Lots of fried food, Come for lunch and get a menu, choose your meat, and 2 choices of sides (1 can be a desert [hint: pick the key lime cake!]) Prices for lunch specials are always reasonable. Dinner prices are slightly higher.
I ordered the oyster poorboy, Large roll with sauce, oysters, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. I had fries with it and devoured it all.

Parking: Parking is front of around building. Maybe it would be difficult if you have a large RV.

Wheelchair accessibility: A large wheelchair may have some difficulty around. You may have an extra wait time. It is best to call ahead to see if you will need any table reserved for you.

I had a wonderful first time experience today for lunch! Since I’m a truck driver and have to deliver at Sam’s Club in the morning, I looked for some place that was not the everyday food choice and an so glad I found Jan’s Beach House Grill! I was greeted by a delightful smell of Coconut/ beach smell and great food and was seated by a sweet lady and she said she hoped I hadn’t been waiting long. I went into the restroom first to wash my hands before I sat down, and told her that. That decorations and flamingos and beach themed obviously and very tasteful. I was told before I got here that they were closing soon, ( a car dealership made an offer the owners couldn’t refuse) so they would be busy. I came in around 1pm for lunch and indeed they were busy, which means the food is great!!! Right away I noticed the great prices!! I’m sure that’s one of the big draws here!!!!
SUPER SERVER Josh greeted me and got my drink order back to me quickly and then I asked him what his favorites were. ( I almost always ask my servers that question) I ordered the grilled fish ( grouper ) fingers and Josh’s favorites green beans and green fried tomatoes!! Within just a few minutes, he returned with my meal exactly as ordered and let me tell you!!!! The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of lemon pepper and the green beans served in a monkey dish were awesome too but the 3 THICK FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were the BOMB!! The best I’ve ever had!! Seasoned and breaded perfectly again, and because they were thick, I could taste the green in the tomato, and the seasoning weren’t to thick that it over powered and it stayed
On when I cut it half!!! Deliciousness all around! I wish I lived closer and glad I could make it here . Found out that they’re not closing until APRIL ‘25 because the demolition company is so busy right now!! Good for all the regular patrons of Jan’s in Montgomery!! I’m sure they’re going to be missed!!

This is a great place to go as a family for live entertainment and great food served rather quickly even though you'll take your time there. We love going when we are in town! ?
