I visited Jason’s Deli for dinner and wasn’t too excited about my purchase. I had high hopes for the taste and quality of my meal but was met with unsatisfactory food. I ordered the tomato basil soup and a grilled chicken panini. The tomato soup was much thicker than expected and tasted very high in sodium and like it came out of a can. When opening my sandwich box, the top half of my bread had slid off.(not really sure how that happened) The sandwich was ok in flavor but was met with hard pieces of grilled chicken on the inside. The free pickle wasn’t tasty at all and overall the food wasn’t that great. The choc chip cookie at the end was very delicious but what cookie isn’t?? Overall for the food I received for the price of nearly $20 for half a sandwich, a small serving of soup, small bag of chips, a cookie and a bottle of water, I am def left and unsatisfied customer. 😕

I visited for the first time again in 16 years and was delighted with my broccoli cheddar soup but less happy with my half club sandwich. I thought it had mayo but it didn't and it was a really dry sandwich. Next time, I'll be sure to request it specifically. I ate there last night and I plan on going again tonight for a salad and soup.

I love Jason’s Deli, but I was a little disappointed with my visit in Montgomery, AL. I got the salad bar and the pasta salad was overcooked and not fresh tasting, and they were out of croutons. The most alarming was that the ramekins for the ice cream were dirty!! Yikes!! I have had better experiences at JD. Step up your game Montgomery.

What has happened to Jason's Deli? The once happening place to get a good sandwich is now a deserted ghost town. Sandwiches once piled high with delicious meats and cheeses, is reduced to a McDonald's hamburger of food. I was shocked at how empty it was, both in patronage and portions. The line of servers behind the counter went from about 10 down to 3. It's a sad day in mudville folks as the mighty Jason has struck out.
Went for weekday lunch. Ordering process was disorganized in my opinion. They had 3 different places to order and gave no direction from ordering to food pickup at the end. However my sandwich and salad were fresh and good.
