This is my favorite restaurant in Montgomery. I always stop here when I drive through alabama on my way to Florida. The staff are so nice and the food is great. It truly is a hidden gem.

Got the mixed grill platter (beef, lamb, and chicken over rice) and really liked the beef and lamb. And then I tried the chicken. You guys, I rarely get chicken at restaurants, but this was superb, one of my favorite restaurant chicken experiences ever. The staff too was very friendly and wonderful to deal with. Head over to this quaint little older building and grab you some shawarma or falafel or a grilled platter and take a little break from your woes.
Visited on New Year's day. It was empty. Felt like a restaurant in the 80's and 90's countryside. The food was really good and worth the money. Prices are affordable too. I would recommend for quick eats while you're traveling. The place is very open in a way that you could enjoy the outside views through big glass windows, while having the delicious food. It's an outlier for modern restaurant looks, keeping that vintage vibes. I would say one of top mediterranean restaurant in Montgomery and near the Alabama State University. Recommended for students too ( save money and get some good food).

We stopped here for lunch and it was a great choice. We had the lamb cubes and the special: leg of lamb with carrots and potatoes. The food was very flavorful and pretty decent portions. I do wish there were a couple more of the lamb cubes, but it was very good overall. Service was awesome! The gentleman was very kind and helpful. Food came out at a decent time, which was a plus since we had two little ones with us. We’d certainly return if we’re in the area.
Great food. The prices are good, too. And the family working have a can-do attitude that's among the best in the southeast. I had the kabab and my sister had the falafel sandwich (sp?) and both were excellent quality.

Today was my first time trying middle eastern food and I will definitely be going back. The staff was so kind and the Establishment was beautiful inside. The food was also top notch . My husband and I ordered the lamp chop platter , Falafel sandwich and the beef shawarma sandwich... All 3 were Delicious!!! We will definitely be going back .
