Generally speaking my experience here was top notch. Everything was fantastic, I only have a singular complaint, the sweet and spicy sauce, it tastes like generic Chinese takeout sauce. Other than that, this is perfection.

This is some of the best dang Korean chicken I have ever had, feels like I’m back in Busan! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating to my kids, and we devoured the food. We will be coming back regularly!

Everything about Kimcooks is amazing. First, the staff is really sweet and welcoming. Kimcooks also has a great variety of food options and are prepared quickly. Lastly, the prices are great for the amount of food that you get. Will be back every week.

We dined in and ordered the half and half fried chicken with fries, and japchae noodles. Everything was delicious and even though we came a group at a peak time, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

The fried chicken is SO good…”finger licking good” it’s just right crunchy, juicy, and the sauce is just”chefs kiss”. The sweet and spicy sauce was my selection and it left me wanting to go back and order more. I got the 6 piece and it came within 10 minutes.it was a pleasant experience and I will be coming back soon??

We ordered fried chicken, beef bowl, pork BBQ bowl, and Korean corn dog. Everything was great, especially the Korean fried chicken. It tasted just like the one we had in Korea. The service was also great. We will definitely come back when we are back in town.

We ordered yangnyeom chicken; the textures were perfect, the flavors were balanced, and the owner is charming. Ten out of ten, highly recommend.

It's not a super authentic korean food served here but more of fusion types for quick meal/snacks.We've tried hotdogs with half sausage & half cheese. This was very disappointing.. We thought it would be half & half side to side together as to be eaten at once, but it was top half chess and bottom half sausage... was not satisfied and felt like wasting of money on this part.Korean chicken is really good, it tends to be a little less meats on bones, but the batter and sauce are good. This is one of our favorites.I never tried spicy rice cake yet personally, but I heard it is really good. I'm going to try soon!Besides hotdogs, I would recommend this place to my family and friends if you are searching for korean snacks.

I’m a big Korean corn dog fan so when a friend pointed out that KimCook is making them I had to go this very evening to try it out.The long and short? Disappointed all around.Note: this place is extremely expensive for what you get.First up, I had to argue my way into getting fresh corn dogs. They had some on “display” that were made at lunch time (I was there at 6pm) and I wasn’t about to take 6 hour old food home. The corn dogs felt like they’re from frozen or they’re not cooked long enough, something was really off. I wouldn’t be shocked to find out that they’re not battering and dipping these in store. 2/10Bulgogi bowl, is overpriced but flavorful. They don’t provide soy sauce so you’ll have to have some at home. But the price for quantity was outrageous. 6/10Pork dumplings, felt like they’re fried from a frozen pack. While flavorful these were unlikely made in store. 5/10Wings, these were so sad. First, they charge you extra for the sauce on the wings. Who does that? They’re soggy and not crispy at all. I could only eat one of them. The flavor of the sauce is really good though, just a disappointment all around.2/10Plain steamed rice, it’s ok. When testing a restaurant I choose some of the most basic things. Steamed rice is one of them and it felt like it had been sitting out all day. Just sad that something with next to no flavor could be even more flavorless. 1/10I wish I had a more positive review to give especially for a place like Montgomery that’s starving for food that isn’t pizza. This town is a total disaster when it comes to food variety.
