The resturant was closed, they took the reservation but were not open when we got there they had a private event and sent us to a sister resturant which was okay but not what we had planned on. The resturant should have contacted us to cancel the reservations as we would have made alternative plans but showing up for the reservation left us with minimal options.

I booked this restaurant months ago as we are traveling from out of state. The restaurant has been closed for several months and Open Table didn't notify us. The Waterworks rooftop bar was open with a few tables as there was an event going on. To cold for outside dining. So what I thought would be nice dining turned out to be noisy, slow, pub food. Our waitress was sweet and kept apologizing.

Our party of three each ordered completely different meals, and every single plate was executed and prepared to perfection. This consistency shows a real dedication to quality, regardless of what you order off the menu.
But the real star of the show? You absolutely have to try the cheesy grits. They are rich, creamy, and undeniably amazing—easily the best I have ever had. They alone are worth the trip!
If you are staying at the Trilogy or simply looking for a phenomenal breakfast spot in Montgomery, Kinsmith is the place. Highly, highly recommended!

A big shout out to Willette for her great service and terrific friendliness. Plus check out the vintage and photography around the cafe and hotel. Can’t wait to return.

Brought a group of 10 and our breakfast was delicious! Staff were kind and attentive. Not very busy this morning so atmosphere was serene. Gorgeous decor details, and so conveniently connected to the Trilogy! I had the eggs Benedict with the cheesy grits. SO good. Biscuits were also flaky and buttery- AMAZING!

The service that I experienced has been phenomenal! My close friends and family surprised my husband with a dinner. We showed up after reserving a week in advance only to find there was 1 waitress! Most would have left but I was determined and Ms. Jackie met my energy and expectations! She let me know up front what to expect, she kept us updated on our food and wait time and kept everyone engaged but patient. Ms. Jackie!!! You and the folks in the back... Listen, you all were heaven sent and it meant everything to me and my husband that you all made everything run smoothly for us. The atmosphere, food and above all the service is what will definitely bring us back. Everyone enjoyed themselves. These days everywhere has a shortage but not everyone remembers that it's about the experience of the customer and they did not fail! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

The food was good and so was the ambience. I felt sorry for the server, she was the only one working. She was the hostess and server. This is a serious lack of management. Several people waited outside to be seated and never made it in. It is such a cool place but not sure if I will go back. 2 hour brunch is a little much.

Waited 10 minutes to be before anyone even acknowledged I was there. Then told it was a ten minute wait to reset tables despite it being 1/3 full. I was after a table for 1, staff proceeded to reset all the large tables (two tables for one where available) after another 10 minutes I just walked out. .
