Was just there a few hours ago,had the molcajete mexicano I couldn't believe the amazing dish that I ate!it was better than any restaurant when I lived in Arizona,of course I never ate any friends mother's dish,but to find this in Birmingham Alabama,blew me away ,portions were insanely large you have got to try this unassuming place,service top shelf,did amazing prices ..service excellent saluda!

Hole in the wall atmosphere with loud Spanish music, which we love. Food is great and prices are fair. Melanie is our fav! Try the cantarito; it's delish! Tortas are huge and yummy with all the toppings. Lengua tacos and lengua house burrito are fab as well. You won't be disappointed. Tuesdays are a younger crowd with more hip hop music. It's fun, but may not be the place, if your looking for a quiet dinner.

Music way too loud and all in Spanish karaoke food was just ok kinda bland

Walked in and the TVs were so loud it was deafening and started to give me a headache. I asked if they could lower the volume but no one seemed to understand what I was saying either from a lack of English skills or from the volume of the TVs. So I left.

The service was poor, our server barely spoke to us, the a/c was broken, it’s too loud, the server couldn’t get our order right… overall this is one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had

Horrible food and music is too loud for my
Comfort. Our table couldn’t even have a conversation due to the music being so damn loud.

This place smells like an old mop. I couldn’t even smell the food. I ordered to go and received the wrong order. Overpriced for small portions.

Food was fantastic!!!! Nice portion sizes. Great quality. Everyone enjoyed!!! Service was a bit slow and they weren't very busy at the time.

Terrible my burrito was soggy the corn of my esquite was uncooked and it didnt even look like an esquite it. looked like soup but the only good thing was their dessert and service they are really nice

Horrible! My husband and I are from Texas and wanted good Mexican food (because that's what we're used to) so we decided to try this place. BAD choice. We ordered the charro beans as a starter and noticed a few black spots floating around. No problem, I thought it was seasoning, onion that was cooked too long. I wish! As I started to inspect closer, it turned out to be several roaches in my food! I thank God that I am a finicky eater and always look at my food first. I do not know if the health department inspect these restaurants regularly and if not THEY SHOULD! We have never returned and NEVER will.

The best mexican stile flavor 😋 the personal it's so very friendly today I arrived when they are closed 10:30 but they said go in don't worry the time
