I’ve gone to La Jolla twice in the past month and had an awesome server, Asher. The food and service have been great both times.
On my first visit, the dining room and bar were full, so the host took my number and called me when a table became available. I enjoyed the grilled lamb small plate on that visit.
On my second visit, I arrived before 5 pm, so there wasn’t a crowd just yet. I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Cajun salmon and Hoppin John entrée this time. It was delicious.
I definitely recommend it!

A strip mall restaurant trying to pass itself off as a high end place to dine . Overpriced food for the size of the portions. In spite of the high prices the pork chop was good. It’s ones of the lower more affordable options. Adult beverage prices are a little higher than most places. Very obnoxious waiter (male) who kept treating us as ‘buddy’ instead of as customers. Friendliness is always appreciated but we are there as guests - not your buddies or friends. Tone it down a little . Atmosphere was dark - could use a little more lighting . Too many tables that could have used a little more space between them. Oh - get rid of the low chairs. Or give customers a booster seat -lol . Seriously the chairs are so low at the tables that you’ll feel like you’re sitting at the table in a kids chair. Overall a so so expensive experience. Would probably return but not going to go out of the way to come back.

I can not say enough about La Jolla. We were passing through from WDW. A quick google search led us here. The food, atmosphere and local customers made this a wonderful night. We will definitely be back!
I ordered the food to go, and the 12 oz pork chop was so tender and juicy! The seasoning was on point — honestly, the best pork chop I’ve had in a long time. This was my first time ordering, but I’ll definitely be returning!

La Jolla was the treat we needed for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was very personal and comfortable, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious!!! We didn't make reservations and ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice! Lucas is an exceptional server and made the night! He provided great food and drink recommendations and even better service! Highly recommend!

First time visiting! Food was great. David, our server was awesome and was very familiar with the menu. Drinks were great and paired well with my meal. Only downfall for me was it was a little too dim to see the menu. The menu changes daily. That could be a bad or good thing especially if you were hoping for something that was served the pervious night. Overall, great service!

La Jolla – Montgomery, AL Had an amazing night at La Jolla! The service was absolutely top-notch — the bartender went above and beyond, super friendly and attentive. The food was incredible across the board — every dish came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to go back!
