Everything Ligers has or does by order is so good. My favorite is the petit fours. The best ever! The staff is always so kind and helpful ♥️
Ordered a dozen gingerbread cookies over a week in advance. Received a call one hour before pickup saying they couldn’t fulfill the order because they were out of shortening. No solution, no discount, and very little concern for the inconvenience. Disappointing customer service.
I’m leaving this review because the lack of communication at Liger’s is a real problem. I sent an inquiry Wednesday and never received any response at all. I was asked by the manager to email & they “might” see if they could even do a simple cake that I had them make in the past. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, which makes it even more frustrating. I was willing to give them another chance to see if anything changed.
In the past, my order was completely lost and the cake wasn’t even prepared when I arrived to pick it up. That experience alone made me stop using Liger’s for years, and unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed. There was only one nice African American lady who offered to design a freshly baked cake since she saw how they didn’t have my birthday cake. The rest of the staff, assuming management had a stale attitude..as if I was bothering them.
A bakery that handles time-sensitive orders needs a reliable system for responding to customers and keeping track of requests. Ignoring messages and losing orders is unacceptable. The products may be ok, but the customer service is consistently poor and I guess this recent encounter was my sign to NOT return
This bakery is not what it used to be. Originally from Montgomery, I have been a lifelong customer of Liger's. Their thumbprint cookies are my all time favorite. So much so that my dad ships me a box for every birthday and Christmas and I so look forward to them. My father just had spine surgery, is homebound at the moment, alone, and is turning 80 tomorrow. I called Liger's to ask if there was any way to have something delivered to him, even using a delivery service. He lives exactly one mile from the store. Well I can say this. I have NEVER been spoken to so rudely in my entire life. I was yelled at and hung up on with the phone slammed down "because it's two days before Thanksgiving" (well, it's actually three days before, but who's counting). I was politely trying to explain my situation and she said she didn't care what my situation was, she couldn't help me. Dumbfounded at being hung up on for no reason, I called back and got a gentleman. He was slightly more tolerable to talk to, but was also wholly uninterested in helping me, explained he had buzzers going off and kept repeating its two days before Thanksgiving. I said it was epically rude for the other employee to hang up on me - and he said well that's what I'm going to have to do, too. I told him that I guess I just learned something today about Liger's. Then he, too, hung up. The call was less than two minutes. I get this is a busy season, but Liger's - you need to remember it's us loyal customers who keep you in business and you just lost a lifelong customer. I truly don't know how a business can interact with their customers this way and expect to be successful. Kindness isn't difficult. If you are too busy baking to answer the phone, hire a kind employee to take calls. It would have taken nothing away to help a customer find a solution to a reasonable, common request. It's called customer service.

I starting using Liger’s Bakery in the 1980’s and have never been disappointed. I have an order in place this week for petit fours and cheese straws. Everyone is always nice and helpful, and the food is delicious.
I Emailed The Baker. With The IDEAS I Had In Mind. For My Daughter’s Birthday Cake. Because She Loves Hello Kitty. She Told Me She Could Do It. But When It Was Time To Pick Up The Cake. It Didn’t Even Come Closed To What I Asked For. I Was So Disappointed And Not Happy At All. I Uploaded A Picture As You Can See Ligers Didn’t Come Close

I visited to inquire about wedding cakes, but unfortunately, my experience was not positive. The receptionist was unexpectedly rude and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but I believe it’s important to treat customers with courtesy—especially when they’re simply asking questions.
Terrible service, small ,poor selection. Cashier had an attitude for no reason.
Recently purchased Almond Crescents and Petitfours They were fresh and amazing.
Almond Crescent’s and Petitfours
Were amazing. My family and I have been purchasing cakes and such since the 70’s.
Service was great. Food was good, though I wasn't a fan of the oatmeal cookies. Other cookies looked great and will be trying then soon.
