I reviewed a steak place over on east chase parkway and in that review, I mentioned this Longhorns in my review. I can't believe I have not reviewed this Longhorns yet. This is the best steak place in Montgomery. There might be one downtown somewhere I haven't tried, but I don't think so. The outlaw ribeye here is the best in town. It is consistently good, the right amount of seasoning and even a medium has great char. we eat here at least twice a month, never had a bad steak. the mashed potatoes are the best side, make sure to get them in a separate bowl with extra butter (my opinion) and adding a salad is maybe $2. You're in Montgomery, Alabama, and almost on the southern bypass, which means most of the staff don't really want to be working anyway, so don't expect superior service, but they will bring your food, which is the most important part. side note- twice this summer of 2025 we went there for lunch and the place smelled horrible. apparently the carpet got wet and spoiled/mildewed/soured we had to leave because of the smell, not the food. last time we went it was better but I suggest sitting by the bar.

I have a 1 star on atmosphere because it STUNK like urine!! It definitely needs to be cleaned. The bathroom smelt better than the dining room!!!!

My husband's steak had so much pepper on it that it was not edible. Service was so-so. Glad we are just passing through.

My grandmother wanted to have her 79th birthday here because she loves the food. We came with 11 people and they told us “we have to split the party and can’t put the tables together” and blamed it on Covid. Doing things like this is what causes people not to eat here. Yall really need to rethink this policy.

This is ridiculous. Paid almost $80 for a to go order tonight at 7 pm for a pick up at 10 pm (that’s the only option they gave) I get here at 10 and they say they have a power outage and are not fulfilling orders. They say the money will be back on the card tomorrow, but IM WORRIED ABOUT DINNER FOR MY FAMILY TONIGHT! Not tomorrow. That’s my $80 tied up. I tried to check in and it said my order was already picked up. I was then told by security of the situation. This is awful.
Went in with the family around 4pm on Thursday. Super fast and friendly service. Food was great!

Longhorn was GREAT!! Had my sister's 60th Birthday dinner there and eventhough Manager couldn't take early reservations for 15 ppl, he said to just show up, he made special provisions for us and the wait wasn't that long.
