This place has to be a joke, spent 100$ on sushi today, ordered from Uber eats. The nigiri had bones in the salmon, which we couldn’t eat because if there are bones that means the raw fish has not been treated properly and can’t be eaten. The spicy tuna roll, literally had no fish in there. I’ve never seen a roll like this. And the filet roll? WITH RAW MEAT INSIDE! This is crazy, I don’t even understand how this could be sent out. At this point, this is a health hazard. Hopefully we are not going to be sick because we ate one piece of the raw filet roll before finding out it was 100% raw. I eat my steaks medium, I don’t mind them pink in the inside… but this was RAW! Literally 100$ went to waste and Uber doesn’t even want to refund us.

2 hours to receive food. Only 2 tables had been sat, so it wasn’t busy. Service was kind, but the food took an eternity to come out, poorly managed, understaffed. It’s what you’d expect for a poor Alabama town sushi restaurant.

We walked in at 6:05 on a Saturday night and the place was nearly dead. We sat at the bar and immediately saw another couple get up and walk away from their rolls because they were inedible. The single waitress for the tables and the bar spent most of her time talking to the kitchen staff and ignoring the few tables she had. After an hour, our three rolls arrived. The rice was undercooked and chewy. The rolls were poorly cut and fell apart when attempting to pick them up. I also ordered tuna nigiri and was brought some other type of fish, but didn’t ask for a replacement because I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes. This restaurant is in need of some new management or it will be out of business very soon. You are better off going to Sam’s or the commissary for sushi in Montgomery.

Very disappointed in my meal. The sushi ordered, the rice was cold. Typically sushi rice should be room temperature but theirs was cold like it came from the fridge. It was also packed tight, a little too tight. Publix sushi would’ve been a better buy considering this was a sushi restaurant. My shrimp fried rice was disappointing, as there were bits of shrimp not whole shrimp and to add mostly tail sections. Hardly any shrimp if I were to be honest. More of a side than an entree. Music was loud maybe because it was pretty empty. May be ok if you never tried sushi but coming from a background with sushi experience both eating and being a chef I cannot recommend this place unless they find a more experienced chef at both the bar and in the kitchen.Psa, cut your carrots on the hibachi dish thinner as it could be a choking hazard since it was a little undercooked.On the other hand our server was pretty attentive being she was the only server working.
