We walked in at 6:05 on a Saturday night and the place was nearly dead. We sat at the bar and immediately saw another couple get up and walk away from their rolls because they were inedible. The single waitress for the tables and the bar spent most of her time talking to the kitchen staff and ignoring the few tables she had. After an hour, our three rolls arrived. The rice was undercooked and chewy. The rolls were poorly cut and fell apart when attempting to pick them up. I also ordered tuna nigiri and was brought some other type of fish, but didn’t ask for a replacement because I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes. This restaurant is in need of some new management or it will be out of business very soon. You are better off going to Sam’s or the commissary for sushi in Montgomery.

Very disappointed in my meal. The sushi ordered, the rice was cold. Typically sushi rice should be room temperature but theirs was cold like it came from the fridge. It was also packed tight, a little too tight. Publix sushi would’ve been a better buy considering this was a sushi restaurant. My shrimp fried rice was disappointing, as there were bits of shrimp not whole shrimp and to add mostly tail sections. Hardly any shrimp if I were to be honest. More of a side than an entree. Music was loud maybe because it was pretty empty. May be ok if you never tried sushi but coming from a background with sushi experience both eating and being a chef I cannot recommend this place unless they find a more experienced chef at both the bar and in the kitchen.Psa, cut your carrots on the hibachi dish thinner as it could be a choking hazard since it was a little undercooked.On the other hand our server was pretty attentive being she was the only server working.

I came here as a vegan thinking I could just get the hibachi veggies and rice and then I was informed they put butter on their rice. The only vegan option is the veggie roll. The rest of the food seems average for above average prices.

The atmosphere and the food (I've heard) is absolutely amazing, but the service was absolutely terrible. We ordered and then waited for about an hour, watched three other tables get served and then when we asked about our food they said they hadn't made it. I would not recommend if you're crunched for time. Even if you have two hours for lunch you most likely won't get your food.

The ambiance is right on theme with the name. I tried the Thriller Roll which was delicious and came out rather quickly
I ordered through door dash and unfortunately it wasn’t ready at the set time and then was told they were out of the lettuce for the poke bowl and out of the egg roll I ordered. They did substitute and food was good. The edamame was a little old looking and lacked the salt I craved. The substituted wantons were good but very thin with filling. The poke bowl was good - tuna was very small and the bowl was a little dry but that might have been due to the rice in place of the greens. I’d try it again to see how it faired for what I originally ordered.
