The food was excellent! Service was outstanding. The owner was absolutely attentive, helpful, and friendly. They have so much variety to choose from. Food presentation great and priced nicely. The restaurant was hot, especially for its size. Will definitely try them again.
I wish I had read the reviews before my visit. I agree that this use to be a wonderful restaurant... MY FAVORITE. I haven't been in a long time, but I was in the area today and decided to stop by. I saw the faces and menu had changed... and even though the prices were higher and the sushi selection was drastically limited, I decided to order a couple of rolls. I should have know something was off when I was one of only 3 people dining during lunch... the place used to be packed and the bar area used to be covered in carry out orders. When my rolls arrived, a rainbow and a ninja, they didn't look good. The temperature was off... both hot and cold... and the flavor was terrible. I kept tasting a dry, cardboard type something or another, and upon picking the rolls apart discovered it was their crab stick. I have had many qualitied of crab stick/surimi... this was the worst. I am DEVISTATED that my beloved Satsuki has turned into the worst sushi restaurant I have ever eaten, but it has and I won't go back. The nice lady working asked why I didn't eat my food. I handed her a $20, told her to keep the change, and told her. I explained that since she asked, I was telling her and that I wasn't trying to be rude or offensive... but if they plan to stay open, they need to know.
A delicious mix of Japanese and Korean food sure to delight your taste buds. Great service and fair prices make this a staple for my lunch choices.
Awesome little hidden gem, with great lunch and dinner options!!
Food was great, service was excellent and the place itself was spotless.
So this restaurant recently changed management and is now more of a Korean restaurant than Japanese. That being said, I ordered the spicy seafood noodle soup and it was amazing! The noodles were chewy, the broth was delicious, and it contained onions, scallions, cabbage, zucchini, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, mussels, shrimp, squid, and half of a small crab! I was extremely impressed. Although I will say the broth tasted suspiciously like Shin instant Ramyun broth... But anyway our server was very sweet as well and I will definitely be back.
The sushi is great

The deep taste of great yami jjamppong! It doesn't even feel like Miwon. It's a Montgomery black-and-white chef-level restaurant. Chaegochaego❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Shout out to Satsuki Japanese Restaurant next to T-Mobile across the street from Walmart on Atlanta Highway. If you haven't tried this place, you are in for a treat. The shrimp tempura was the best I have ever had. The spicy seafood noodle soup was excellent and perfectly spicy for me. The service was attentive and fun. Give this place a try!

This place really hits the spot! The Jjamppong and Kanpoong shrimp were amazing—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and sourness. There are plenty of options on the menu, and I can’t wait to come back and try the Vietnamese noodles and Tangsuyook!

Tried to visit two weeks ago, sign was on the door stating they were closed. (New management). Tried to call in my usual order tonight (chicken and steak hibachi), was told there’s a new menu by a woman who answered. I asked what did they have that was similar, she gave the phone to a male who was very nice and tried to assist me. I told him I would just come in to place the order. Once I arrived, the older woman who answered the phone told me to sit at the sushi bar to review the menu and place my to go order. The menu was completely different. However, they had chicken teriyaki. Before ordering, I asked would it be like the prior managements “chicken teriyaki” she said yes. I ordered and asked for no soup/salad, extra fried rice with veggies. Order came, I asked to open the bag to check it before we headed to the counter to pay. I opened it and the rice was white rice instead of fried, the woman stated just add soy sauce it’ll be the same. So I did. Opened the veggies, they were not cooked/grilled. The chicken looked like fajita chicken (not the usual white meat). She insisted I sit and dine in and try it because it’s “so good and I would like it” Again, it’s new management, so I tried a PIECE of the chicken with the rice and knew immediately it wasn’t my “usual”. I bagged up the rice and kept the chicken and veggies out and went to the counter TO PAY! I explained to her that I did not like the chicken as it was not my “usual” and that the veggies were not cooked/grilled. She yelled NO YOU PAY! I told her I never said I wouldn’t pay, I just wanted to inform her that I didn’t like it and it wasn’t the same chicken. The man that answered when I called previously came over and asked what was going on, I explain to him what had happened, she tried to over talk me and I tell her to let me tell him and she walks to the back. He goes on to say yes, the new owners use chicken thighs now instead of white meat it is NOT the same chicken that it used to be. I then tell him that I never said I wouldn’t pay. However, let me order something else to replace the chicken and I’ll keep the rice. The woman, comes from the back, grabbed the food from the counter, elbows me intentionally, and screams GET OUT DON’T COME BACK and motions with her hands for me to leave! I politely left. I will NEVER support this business again! VERY poor customer service given from this older woman!

Me and my girlfriend used to come to this place all the time it was her favorite sushi place. Now it has a new menu, change of food, and new staff. The only thing that remains the same is the name of the restraunt. The Sushi is bland and the ones I had tasted the same. Go elsewhere to enjoy sushi and or if you were a frequent.

This used to be a really great sushi place however and recently changed management and with it the food quality has also changed. We normally go and get the beef bulgogi but you could tell They were cutting corners with the quality of the meat as well as how it was being cooked. They've also changed most of their sushi rolls both in name and ingredients. Hopefully it gets better at some point. I'm willing to try it again in the future just not right away

This was previously one of our favorite gems in the city. The owners have changed, the food and menu is a complete downgrade.
