Every dish we ordered tasted authentic and freshly made. The ambiance is good, and the service is excellent. Misou soup was so authentic that i feel all other restaurants in Montgomery are serving tasteless hot water. You must try Jalapeno bomb. It is not spicy as it sounds but tastes great.This is a hidden gem on Atlanta Hwy. Never had such a great Japanese food experience in Montgomery before. Prices are nominal with good portions and authentic taste.

Been a while since I have been. Stopped by to try it again and I enjoyed my lunch. I think the salad is ok but the ginger dressing feels a little sweet. The gyoza was great and I ordered some tempura sushi. The energy roll was good. The tempura batter was a little thick but I enjoyed the taste and they cut it small enough to eat without cutting it up. All came out to less than 20$ after a tip.

What can I say? Traveling through to Mississippi and Louisiana and we stopped here and it is amazing. The staff is so friendly and nice the food is beyond delicious ?????? the food placement is above and beyond. The teriyaki sauce taste like authentic teriyaki sauce. I ate the teriyaki salmon bento box and it was above and beyond. They have miso soup that is out of this world! Their fried tempura ice cream is delicious and oh my goodness delicious gyoza and fried oysters! I loved every bite. I left there so full I felt like a stuffed turkey on thanksgiving. Wish we had one in NC where I live!

This place left an amazing first impression on me. The service was wonderful, the food, and the dessert. Our fried oysters and gyozas for starters were amazing! They give you miso soup and salad on the house and it's so great! I ordered the Yakisoba for the main meal, and it was delicious! My sister got the salmon bento box, and my Dad got the octopus poke bowl, and it was delicious as well ?? This place is wonderful and a must try. We will be stopping by every time we travel through Montgomery from now on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Satsuma is the best sushi restaurant in Montgomery. Their any 2 rolls for $12 is the best deal in town. The Tuna Poke bowl is delicious too.

The last time I was in here, which was 10+ years ago, the food was so so. Today I was blown away with the best salmon bento box and spring rolls! I even ordered more 'to go' for tonight's supper. I also learned that it is under new management about a month now.

Satsuki is a wonderful restaurant for all those who love Japanese cuisine. Although I must say their Spicy Pork Bulgogi is my favourite thing on the menu. The staff is so kind and the sushi is the best I’ve had in town. Montgomery is blessed with the quality and the amount of its good Asian cuisine and Satsuki is near the top for me and my wife.

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. This restaurant had wireless pay (Applepay). I ordered the seaweed salad, tofu nigiri, cucumber maki, avocado maki, and vegetable teriyaki. Everything was delicious. I asked the waiter if the food was vegan, and they were transparent and asked the cook to make sure. They were so nice and welcoming. Our waiter took care of us. The experience and food was a pleasure.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable options for vegans.Parking: Parking was plenty and easy to find.
