We are in town for a minute and I'm one who loves non corporate restaurants. We came in on a Friday evening sat at the bar, food was good grilled pork loin, and country fried steak, some of the sides were better than others. But the atmosphere was top notch 👌 We will be back!
Stopped in for lunch, and though they have an extensive menu, I opted for the meat and three. I chose the fried pork loin with lime beans, squash casserole, and apeach crisp dessert. The meal was served hot, but after a few bites, I realized that I was given a fried chicken breast rather than the pork loin. I pointed this out, and they asked if I wanted to keep eating the chicken. I said I'd rather have what I ordered, so they took the chicken back, and about 30 seconds...
I stop by here every month or so while driving through Montgomery. It's a great place not only for It's authentic Southern Cuisine, but some good ole southern charm. It's a must to put on your food road trip...
