Editing: I'm moving food to 3 because I was a bit angry when I posted this review. This was the first bad visit, and the visit itself was fine, the aftermath, not so much. Original post: Maybe teach your bartenders that an Absolute Stress does NOT use tequila, which my wife is allergic to. If they don't know how to make one, just tell us darn it. This restaurant is a Montgomery tradition and renowned by locals for great food and service for a reasonable value. No reservations on weekends so plan accordingly. Everything on the menu is good but I like their onion rings, crab claws and West Indies salad for appetizers. I favor their Steaks and seafood for entrees. Their green salad is fresh The kids menu is one of the best in MGM for quality and value.
I love this place! Great spot for casual dining / hanging outside / live music. Family friendly. I do wish there were more vegetarian options, but they at least offer several vegetarian (and delicious) dips as well as a cheese pizza.
