Loved the place bc of the variety of beers. It was nice to be able to choose and pour as much as I wanted of each beer. Great if you wanna try some different ones but don’t want to commit to a full glass.
It did took me a few times to understand how to use the card tho, a bit more of explanation from staff would have been helpful. Food was ok. Hard to find parking around!

I really want to love this place but something misses everytime I go. Food was ok first time I went. Second time I went it was trivia night. It was packed and a TON of fun. Problem again was with the food, it had been almost a hr and a half with no food, went to check to find out there were still 15 orders ahead of mine. I cancelled the order, ordered Uber eats, got it in 15 mins. The beer is good but prices are too high in my opinion.

Tower Taproom is a fun place if you like trying different beers. They have self-serve taps where you pour your own drinks, which is really cool. You get to try a little of each if you want before picking a favorite. The place is pretty casual and has a good crowd, especially on weekends. I also liked their food—it’s simple bar food but tastes fresh. I had the chicken sliders and fries and they hit the spot. Staff was helpful if you had questions about the taps. There’s plenty of seating inside and out. Good spot to relax after work or hang with friends. I’ll definitely go back to try more beers.
Great place to grab some food and hang out with people. So the high level review is that the atmosphere, food, & service at Tower Taproom are phenomenal, the reason for only 4 stars is regarding the beer prices and selections/lack there of (see the second paragraph). Pros: wonderful atmosphere to stop in solo or with a group of people and relax. I was shocked at the variety of food that they offer and equally pleased with the quality of said food! I ordered the “Double Secret Probation” loaded fries with fried chicken, and they were amazing! The service was excellent as well! Everyone was helpful and polite. And my food came out super fast and was good and hot!
Ok so now the cons: so the price per oz on the beers equates to about $8-$10 per glass on the moderate ABV% beers, and even higher for higher ABV% beers which is a bit high. I had 2 glasses and it ran me $20. The other thing that was disappointing to me was the lack of options. So I’ve been visiting Montgomery for the last 2 weeks, and the one thing that I have thoroughly enjoyed about every downtown bar that I’ve visited is there robust selections of locally brewed (Alabama) beers. This was not the case at Tower Taproom (at least on the day I was there). I there were more of the national brands (Golden Monkey, Michelob,etc..). I would have loved to come to a spot like this and have had mainly (or at least majority) local brews. Finally, the other local bars, that serve more local beers, do so for aboht $5-$7 per glass.

You know the food food when you Freddy's to throw away something as simple as wings and tots/onion rings and travel 2+ hours to ATL with them to savor the leftovers. Yummy. Plus the staff cool as a fan and gives great suggestions like CIDERBOYS strawberry beer

The atmosphere is the plus...beer is per ounce and pretty expensive. Centrally located to Biscuits stadium though for pre-game food or drink option. Just too expensive.
