Saturday lunchtime wasn't even packed. First time going. Impressed! Great portions and lots of different food options like the stir fried gizzards. GET IT!!!! Any other day we would've ordered just bulgogi, but we just loved the gizzards so much more. It came with a salty sesame oil that was tasty. One dish plus the banchan sides are more than enough for 2 people. We took all the leftovers to go. Ask for the cold boricha (barley tea). ?

I believe Uhwoodon was converted into Fish & BBQ Korean Restaurant as it is located at the same address and has the same phone number.I visited with my friend last night for dinner who had never tried Korean food before. My exposure to Korean food is my grandmother's amazing cooking. I was VERY pleased with Fish & BBQ's offerings. They were delicious!!They serve everyone chilled rice tea (so addictive - if you've never tried it, you need to! There are so many health benefits). We ordered mandu (pot sticker dumplings) for an appetizer. They were warm, crispy, and delicious and accompanied by banchan (small side dishes that are common in Korean cooking - different varieties of kimchi, etc.). My friend and I both ordered bulgogi bibimbap. It was a perfect balance of sweet, savory, spicy, fresh, crunch, and tender! I was stuffed to the gills by the end, and my bill came out to less than $25.I think the value of this place is amazing, and the food is cooked with love, and it shows! I can't wait to come back.

Our experience here was sub-par at best. The prices are much higher than the quality of food. After I received my soup, I had to hunt down the waitress to ask for salt, soy sauce and chili. She provided about a tablespoon of soy sauce and said they didn’t have any of the others. Water was never refilled. When my wife’s hot pot was delivered after 30 minutes, it was very plain. Again, no chili or spices available to make it edible. We asked for to go boxes and brought the $50 hot pot home and made it good. Truly waste of time and money. I’m not sure why our experience was so different from other reviewers that have left positive comments, but for us, this was a sad experience. I feel bad leaving a $5 tip on a $76 tab, but it was more than she deserved.
Came here tonight from out of town with 7 other coworkers from outside of Alabama. I had heard Montgomery had a strong Korean population with multiple Korean restaurants and we wanted to try it out. Fish & BBQ was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and taught us how to cook and eat. We were introduced to Soju and so many other things. It was amazing I’ll never forget it. The staff was incredible. One of a kind experience. So much fun.

I love their lunch deals such as 9.99 blackbean noodles and tteokbokki & fries set. Its cozy atmosphere and private room setting support more comfortable and enjoyable dining. The owners and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. A must-try Korean restaurant if you visit Montgomery Alabama.
