The barbecue here is truly outstanding and highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious meal. You should certainly consider stopping in to experience it for yourself. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of choices to satisfy every palate. Every dish we tried was exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. Furthermore, the staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

Tasty bbq without heavy sauce. Good flavor. The hush puppies were an unexpected treat. Light and crisp without any of the heavy greasy texture you sometimes find on complementary fried cornbread. Service was very good. Tea stayed full and food came quickly

Another great meal at John’s— Jeremy and the crew delivered some great ribs and friendly service this evening. Ask for the sandwich hot sauce— goes amazing on the ribs. And the peach pie was a perfect closer to the meal— always enjoy coming here. Great food and ample portions at reasonable prices.

Good food, good experience. Energetic and helpful staff. 1 of the 2 best places in town. Has a sister restaurant that is horrible. Make sure to use the store closest to Walmart.
I ordered for a work party and there was a miscommunication. It was fixed with no issue, and the staff went way above and beyond!! We will 100% use again!

Excellent wings. I got the Rooster Hot sauce. I'm picky about my sauces in that I don't like salty. This sauce was not salty, just a ton of flavor. The Jailhouse Slaw and the Collard Greens were truly fresh and you could tell prepared with care. Service was slightly inattentive but polite and accurate. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

I love this restaurant and knew the owner before he passed recently, and so I hate to leave an ugly review but tonight was very unpleasant for me. We ordered in the drive thru and were instructed to pull up to wait on our order (no problem), we waited almost 30 minutes for 2 simple orders and they forgot one of my sauces, so I had to get out to get it as i wasn’t in the drive thru anymore (not THAT deep but you could’ve gotten the order right with how long it took them to bring it out), to which i got accused of lying by one of the workers because he claimed he put the sauce in there but he didn’t put the right amount. It is very unprofessional to accuse a customer of straight up LYING where they can clearly hear and see you. I wasn’t trying to rip you guys off for A SAUCE CUP.
