“Absolutely love their burgers and fries! Bobby Rai’s sauce is a spicy creamy mesquite bbq sauce that goes with everything! The strawberry cheesecake is so delicious!! Lunch specials $11 includes drink. They have a point system that gives $ off your order. Birthday treats also. I’ve been twice, had burger and fries, and will definitely be back to try other menu items! Wait staff is friendly and accommodating.”

“I have only been eating at el rio for about a year now, and it’s HANDS DOWN some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Not only is their food DELICIOUS, but it is also very affordable AND the employees are always SO nice! They are never too busy which makes NO sense to me because it’s so good! If you’re not going to eat at El Rio then what are you even doing????🥰🥰”

“If you are passing through Moulton, Alabama, you will not be sorry if you grab a hamburger at Nesmith’s Hamburgers. You will find a small town vibe, with true southern charm. Nesmith’s is not a chain burger joint, it is as home grown as you can get. The burgers are fried in a style where the patties “bob” in a lake of oil until crispy. You are going to be taken back in time with the taste and atmosphere. Their burgers do not have to dressed up with “all the extras” their classic taste speakers for itself! Did I mention that their sweet tea is also something they are known for? Order a burger “all the way” which is mustard, ketchup and onion. You will be blown away! Delicious!”

“They serve you hush puppies right off the bat when seated at a table. I found the sides both unique and delightful. I got a quarter rack of ribs and they were very tender. The barbecue sauce paired very nicely with the ribs. The place has a outdoorsman vibe. The only advice I’d give is not to come alone, but bring your friends and family.”

“I just went there after the lunch rush so it wasn't that busy. I didn't have to wait in the Drive-Thru for very long. I looked at the deals board and then chose The BLT.
Look, just because I didn't want my sandwich toasted does not mean I needed cold greasy bacon. At least pop it in the microwave sheesh. And extra mayonnaise does not also mean extra salt holy hell.
Otherwise the sandwich was consistent, and the service was fast and polite.”

“Rolled by this place to get some treats to take home after visiting the Jesse Owens museum.

The outside is kind of nondescript but it's a surprisingly large operation inside. There's a seating area and it appears from their menu they offer some cafe style lunches in addition to baked goods.

We came near to closing and so the selection was somewhat picked-over. The person working there was apologetic and offered her suggestions as to what to try of what remained. I wound up going home with a slice of chocolate cake and a chocolate chip cookie (the latter per the worker's recommendation). They did also have some other treats such as no-bake cookies and some other confections. The employee was friendly and the space was clean. She took care in retrieving and packaging the cookie I ordered.

The treats were good. The chocolate chip cookie was a standard one but enjoyable, with slightly crisp edges and a chewy center. I liked the ratio of chips to cookie.

I actually liked the chocolate cake slice even better. The icing wasn't overabundant and had a pleasantly fluffy/whipped texture. The cake was moist. I wish it had been slightly more densely chocolatey, but it was definitely a good slice of cake.

This is a solid local bakery with pleasant service. They're worth a try if you're in the area and craving a treat.”
