“The food was good. The loaded butterfly fries were delicious. The food is inexpensive, but good. On the outside, it looks like a dive, but looks are deceiving. It got crowded so that should tell you something.”

“Even after 2 years of going various times, every time the chicken fingers, fries and bread are always hot like they were just cooked. Employees at the window are always nice and courteous. Never had a bad experience at this ”

All delicious!The service is pretty fast and they, the staff, are polite, friendly and helpful.Atmosphere is what you make it because it's a drive-in Cafe. You order from your car and you eat in your car. Very cool!Parking: Plenty of parking as long as they aren't over full with customers.Kid-friendliness: They are nice to everyone and you are in your vehicle the whole time unless you choose to sit at the tables in the center of the parking in front of the building. All ages are welcome!Wheelchair accessibility: Well you are in your car the whole time so you won't need it.If you want to eat at the tables though, I believe there's a curb and that's not wheelchair friendly.”

“I've been eating there since the late 1960s. My grandfather carried me and sit me on a stool. I absolutely love the food and the staff. Mrs Helen has always been so kind and caring. She makes you feel very welcome. I absolutely ?% love this place.”

“The staff was friendly and on top of making sure that you didn't need anything. The food was sooooo delicious and it was an all you can eat buffet!! It's a casual restaurant and all are welcome. The restaurant and restrooms are clean also. I definitely want to go again and again and....... again lol.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 TV's and one had cartoons playing. The other just had a background video with a display of lights below the screen that went with the music. Nothing was too loud.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a one story building and the ground is level.”

“I love mexican food so i have tried majority of the restaurants from huntsville to moulton... without a doubt, El Rio is my favorite. The food is delicious, the service is great, the prices are outstanding. Never a wait to sit... absolutely perfect place to eat.”

“OMG y'all! Just had lunch here. This is the BEST bbq and ribs we have ever eaten. Drove from Birmingham and was well worth it. Waitress was awesome! Will definately be back!”

“How unpleasant of some people who are going to eat and don't want to pay for a service one of the waitresses to be exact is one of the best in that place I don't know the name but she had Curly hair and I saw her always attentive to a table more than 20 people and I had to pay behind them and what a shame that they didn't leave a tip they don't know that the restaurant doesn't pay them for their service the owner of that place should do something for them I'm sorry for the waitress”

“Super sweet sassy waitress! We each got a burger. He got the double, I got the single with cheese. Very tasty! They use fresh meat and pat out their patties. No frozen beef patty here! The fries are just crinkle fries. Nothing special. They have daily lunch specials. They do serve breakfast until 11. Yes, there is a smoking room and non-smoking room. You cannot smell the smoking section in the non-smoking section (or I would’ve left). I do wish the smoking section was in back and not where you wait to pay.”

“Husband and I ate here the other night. Pricing was reasonable, service was good, food was alright. Crab rangoon weren’t right- they were a very weird goopy texture and sweet in flavor. Would try them again to see if they just had an off day but couldn’t eat them this time around. Chow mein noodles were too soft and over cooked for me but my husband liked them. Mozzarella sticks were warm but not hot enough to be stringy and yummy. Loved the Chinese donuts and shrimp dishes. Egg drop soup and sesame chicken were alright. Didn’t hate the egg rolls and general tso’s chicken but they just didn’t hit the mark flavor wise. They have various American types of food as well like wings, chicken tender, etc. Which is good for those with picky kids. Different types of desserts and ice cream too. It’s nice having a buffet with some variety in such a small town but would love to see improvements to the food and environment as time progresses.”

“These two greeted me as soon as my feet cleared the threshold. The dining area was pristine, just like the employee line.They were very patient, I was doing 1 order from the phone, and gave me their asked for opinions after I narrowed my choices down to 2.The sandwich line was clean and had fresh items to choose from. Everything was delicious, and I'll gladly return to this location.”

“Best bar-b-q pork in the area. Friendly staff and a typical bar-b-q joint atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't see any handicap parking spaces. Building is not particularly handicap friendly, but not impossible with assistance.”
