I never leave google reviews but this location was not good, I go to the Auburn location all the time and this Bham one was horrible. “Two” scoops was barely even one. The strawberrys were obviously frozen and tasted like a freezer. And the icing on the cake, a “convenience fee” when we went to pay. Which makes no sense considering paying with cash is the least desirable way to pay these days judging by all the “cashless” businesses, and we paid with a debit card so I have no idea what “convenience” we were paying for. But from now on i’ll only go to the Auburn location ✌️ ??

Terrible customer service at this location. A bunch of kids who seem not to care. There were 4 kids behind the counter and only 1 of them was actually working. The other 3 were not friendly and I had to ask for help. They didn't have what I wanted, and said they couldn't make it. Then the person checking me out had the nerve to ask for a tip (when she didn't help me and told me they couldn't add white icing to a plain cookie cake for me). Ridiculous. Will not be back.

The ice cream is ALWAYS delicious. However, there was a woman she said her name was Cris (which I doubt bc she was rude to my kids the whole exchange) I have 2 w allergies. She was scooping the ice creams w the same scoop so there was chocolate in the rainbow ice cream. One has a chocolate allergy. My daughter asked her if she can change scoops. She shook her head and walked away so the boy took over. He finished hers plus the other 4 we had….she continued to shake her head so I asked what her problem was. She said what ice cream did she (my daughter) get? Those are weird flavors. And asked her is she paying w cash or card. She’s 14. She said we’re all together l. “Cris” kept shaking her head and said oh my gosh and rolled her eyes. I asked for her name she said those are weird ice creams. The ice cream is good. The 2 young men are polite. The lady absolutely ruined this trip.$34. And couldn’t even enjoy it.

Let me preface by saying that I love GAC! This location has offered the worst experiences of any that I have been to. I recently went multiple hours before they closed and asked for a cookie cake and they said they would not do it. They said they had already put away everything and wouldn't do it even though the store was completely empty and the employees were just standing there and talking! When I asked if they would do one, they all looked at each other and laughed and acted like we were dumb. I would avoid this location and find a better local cookie establishment before choosing GAC.

Worst experience yet. I wanted to get a quart and at first they decided they don’t do those although it was right there on the menu. Then when they said they could they decided they can’t do mix-ins so they just dumped in ice cream and dumped toppings on top even though the menu clearly says mix ins and this wasn’t my first time getting it from there. Not sure if the management has gone downhill since they opened but I sadly won’t be back.

the sign on their door says that that close at 9:00 so when I get there at 8:20 and they are CLOSED, I am naturally upset. Their ice cream is smooth and the cookies are great but if you want to go and they close at 9:00, you should probably show up at 7:00 before they close!

Some of the worst service I've ever had. We asked for a box for the cookies we just paid for so we didn't have to literally carry them out and the worker yelled this is "why our prices are going up because we keep giving our products out. People keep asking for boxes". So we didn't get a box and left. The rudest workers. Literally. They also were being rude to us for wanting a double doozy because they had to scoop the icing out and make it themselves. They were rolling there eyes. This isn't my first time I have been in here and had a terrible experience. It's every time the workers are so rude.

This location has very unfriendly workers. The ice cream must not sell very well because it has a film across the top and is discolored and gummy. The cookies are fresher than the ice cream.

Probably the only thing that will get a one star from me is poor service. Showed up at 7:52pm. Door was locked. Google says open til 9pm. Their website says 9pm. Great American cookie/ marble slab, you've wasted my time.

I have been Yelp Elite for a few years now. I love to eat and have good food. Yet sometimes, I think we do not emphasize guest services enough. This review will be about how Great American Cookies made me feel. About a year ago, I bought a Birthday Cookie for my then 30-year-old daughter. These cookie cakes are no inexpensive. After paying for the Cookie Cake, I was driving out of the parking lot a someone cut me off. I had to stomp on my brakes and the cookie cake went flying. It was folded and destroyed. To say I was upset would be an understatement. I went back in the store and asked if they could make me another one. I also said, it was my fault all this happened, and I would no issue paying the full price. The manager saw I was more concerned with getting my daughter the cookie cake than the money. They made the Cookie Cake and when I gave them my credit card, the manager said it was on the House. I gave said no way, but she insisted. I gave them a $20.00 cash tip and left. Fast forward to today. My daughter partner is having a birthday. They want a Cookie Cake. I got in my car and drove out of my way to be the first in line for a Cookie Cake. That my friends are what Guest Services does for us. We consumers never forget. If you are kind to me, I simply won't go anywhere else.

Blew us away and closed 10 mins early. The lady working there was rude and turned away multiple kids around the age of 6 and 7. I would rather drive 45 minutes to the next closest Great American Cookies than ever buy from this store again. Also it says y'all close at 10. Why shut the doors at 8:50?
