As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. Upon arriving to our seats we received dirty looks from customers dining in. As if we were not wanted. My appetite was immediately turned off. The only reason we stayed was because our waitress Madison made us feel very welcome but the culture of the restaurant was not welcoming.

Service was fine, with smile and professional. She suggested hummus and it was tasty. The burgers?? Disappointed. The patties are too small for the price that you are paying . They are cooked well done and dry. All the flavors come from the bread and the sauce . sweet potato fries are tasty (I used to carry the same brand). Beside that.. not much to talk about it

Best night to come is on burger night. A lot of selection on wine and beer. Fun place to bring the kids when we are in patio weather.

Best time to come is on burger night. One of the best burgers in town and usually have a burger of the week. Service is okay, just depends on how busy it is

Munchin' & brunchin'. My wife & I enjoyed a relaxing Sunday brunch at Porch. This was our 1st time dining here. Porch is located in Crestline Village in Mountain Brook. I ordered the Panko Fried Chicken featuring cheese grits & braised collards with a drizzle of sweet-hot mustard. After one bite of the collards alone, I was incredibly happy with my choice. The collards were PHENOMENAL! Little bit of heat, little bit of sweet, the right amount of tang. They didn't need a thing. The fried chicken was also excellent. Lovely crunch from the batter, perfectly moist inside. The grits were lusciously creamy. I would have loved a touch more sweet-hot mustard, but otherwise this dish was flawless. My wife had the Truffled Farro Bowl featuring toasted farro, roasted beats, brussels, grilled onions, carrots, (86 goat cheese) & balsamic glaze. They certainly didn't skimp on the tasty veggies. She said she'd order this again even when Veganuary is over. I tried a bite & agree...I would order this dish myself. It's outstanding. It's great to know Porch offers vegetarian/vegan friendly options. The atmosphere at Porch is cool & relaxed. The walls are adorned with colorings of dancing bears, Grateful Dead memorabilia & SEC team flags. A little hippy, a little sports bar, a lot of excellent food. Service was friendly & knowledgeable. They offer a full bar. I like it here. Let me put it this way...the food is so good that I think I had a stupid grin on my face the entire meal! I will definitely be back as many of the menu items caught my eye. Thanks for a great time, Porch!

Served drinks in a can, which is obviously super classy and is why you should be charged twice as much for a mid burger and mid fries than anywhere else. Why is everyone shouting to each other? My table can hardly talk over every one else. Seriously overrated. I wouldn't recommend this place to literally anyone. The service is nice though.

It was some of the worst buffalo sauce I've ever had in my life. It was more like sweet and sour sauce. The service was great. The staff were pleasant and our waiter was sweet. It's a cute little building in a nice area. I just wish the food was a little better.

Five stars for the restaurant! Zero stars for the group of entitled parents who refused to control their screaming (literally screeeaaaaming) children, letting them sprint around the entire patio, throw footballs dangerously close to the street parking, kick rocks into the walkways, constantly get underfoot of the waitstaff, and block the doors to impede other patrons. A full hour of dealing with that made me want to out-scream the children. Get it together, Real Housewives of Mountain Brook. Shout out to the workers tonight who had to deal with such a horrible group.

Went here on a Friday. Drove all the way across town to come here only to find out they were closed for a “private event”. Came back to give them another shot the next Friday, the lady turned me away saying there was a 3 hour wait…… Won’t be back. A shame too. I loved the food and atmosphere. Oh well.

A very nice restaurant hidden away in the Heart of Mountain Brook. We visited The Porch on a Sunday for brunch. The staff was very welcoming. The food was reasonably priced. We ordered the Porch Breakfast plate and a Fried Chicken Sandwich with Bacon.

Food was good but the service was a bit awkward and could have been better overall. Would probably go back and visit again sometime though.

Our go to casual spot in Crestline. we always get salad and whatever the burger special is of the Day. Never disappointing always perfect and we always sit on the patio. - I guess the last time I went I got the shrimp and grits; great filling option for a low price.
