Five stars for the restaurant! Zero stars for the group of entitled parents who refused to control their screaming (literally screeeaaaaming) children, letting them sprint around the entire patio, throw footballs dangerously close to the street parking, kick rocks into the walkways, constantly get underfoot of the waitstaff, and block the doors to impede other patrons. A very nice restaurant hidden away in the Heart of Mountain Brook. We visited The Porch on a Sunday for brunch. The staff was very welcoming. The food was reasonably priced. We ordered the Porch Breakfast plate and a Fried Chicken Sandwich with Bacon.

Munchin' & brunchin'. My wife & I enjoyed a relaxing Sunday brunch at Porch. This was our 1st time dining here. Porch is located in Crestline Village in Mountain Brook. I ordered the Panko Fried Chicken featuring cheese grits & braised collards with a drizzle of sweet-hot mustard. After one bite of the collards alone, I was incredibly happy with my choice.
