Champy's Fried Green Tomatoes are to die for, OMG !!!! Seriously, they have the perfect blend of seasoning that will have them melting in your mouth. They are so good that we drive 64 miles, round trip, just to savor them. Moulton needs a Champy's !!!

We were in town for a volleyball game. Saw this restaurant online and it looked like a great place. Atmosphere was awesome, music was great. Waited a long time for the main food. Unfortunately, the most awful food we have ever had. Cold grilled chicken and Mac and cheese on one plate. Gross mashed potatoes and yuck tasting gravy on another. My grilled chicken salad was supposed to have a side of buffalo wing sauce but I ruined the salad because it was more like enchilada sauce that was so oily and hot I choked. The boiled egg had a thick green mold color around the yolk. Not just normal that can go grey. Anyway, we won’t be going back. Hope it gets better for others.

Came here for dinner over an hour before they closed. There weren’t too many people and it took over 40 minutes to get our order and unfortunately some items were cold by the time it came to our table. My favorite thing were probably the French fries, we also got the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese but those were cold. The chicken was good but it was very oily and we both ended up not feeling well after dinner. I did like the atmosphere of the restaurant and how they had live music outside.

This is getting four stars because my husband enjoyed his birthday dinner and the atmosphere. He was enjoying the music just wished it was a little pounder but totally knew folks could not hear each other if he asked about it
Me on the hand had a HARD time eating. I made sure Tia so it what I ordered, the kids meal of two catfish strips was spicy. I was told they were not. This meal comes with two strips, a hush puppy and one side. I ate half a fish tender because the slips was burning my mouth. The same with the hush puppy. I did not see any spices in my crunchy batter to cause this so I think these items are all fried in the same grease. When you fry the hot spiced batter items with the non spicy food the spicy heat will transfer to the no spicy food. Dear owners, I would ask you check this out.

Chicken tenders (fried or grilled) have a really nice flavor then combined with the Champy’s sauce and they are the best. Being from the north I enjoyed those southern baked beans and the hushpuppies. The blonde waitress wearing the green Milwaukee Bucks baseball cap is an excellent waitress.

I heard from local bartender that this place has good fried chicken. The chicken served hot but not hot spicy to my liking. I expected to be Nashville hot chicken. The service was good. The atmosphere was nice.
