This is not a great Zaxby's. They are trying really hard but for some reason it's just not...good. If you are really craving Zaxby's try a different location. At the same time, it's not the absolute worst.
We had a decent meal. The fries, though hot, were not all fully cooked. The nibblers were good, but it's possible the buns had been sitting out too long. The front counter worker did a good job but didn't fully understand when I asked for an extra plate (we ordered two nibbler meals for three people). The drink machine was spewing syrup, so maybe repairs or cleaning is needed? We dined outside and noticed broken tables against the railing that really should be repaired...
This is my neighborhood Zaxby's. I order online most of the time and pick-up. It's always hot and ready. I actually like the Signature Chicken Sandwich better than Chick-fil-A. I get the spicy sauce and add lettuce and tomato. Can't beat it.
