This was my first time here. It is like a diner. You walk in and seat yourself. The menu is mostly hamburgers, steaks, and ribs. We walked in at noon and it wasn't too busy. Our order was taken within a couple of minutes. I asked for a salad and we both ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. My salad came in a small ceramic bowl instead of a plate. There was shredded lettuce and chopped tomato. The ranch dressing tasted homemade. Our cheesesteaks arrived on toasted French bread sliced on a diagonal. There was plenty of meat, melted cheese, onions, and diced green peppers. It was the best Philly steak sandwich that I have ever tried. It should be considering the price. $11.00 I had already ate most of the salad before remembering to take a picture, so all you see is the sandwich after I cut into it and devoured it. Sorry!

Cheryl was our server and was excellent and a delight. Kinda a Mom and Pop place. Definitely could tell this is a place that locals visit. I had the sampler platter where I could have variety. I was throughly pleased that the steaks flavor was unique from all the others that I have had in my life and I enjoyed and savored it. Kinda smokey. You need to try if you just want different. The buttermilk pie to go brought tears to my eyes as it brought memories of my grandmother back to me. I will return to this location to try their hamburger steak.

We were served Rotten steak, do not eat here. We ordered something different and they still made us pay for our meal.

They are charging $3.75 to use a debit/credit card. I started checking other establishments, and most charged $1.00 to $1.50. They made an error in my order, so I got to pay it twice even though I complained. I'm still not sure how they came up with the price they charged me after looking at the menu I took home.The ribs were good, but the sides were VERY small for the price.

The food is great at Buddy's. The ladies there are 1st class. Try the large spicy BBQ sandwich and fries. You want regret it.
It was pretty good. I got the "hickory" plate w/ Ribeye and chopped pork, instead of ribs. Honestly, the amount of pork it came with wasn't near worth the extra $10 it cost. The Ribeye was a lot thinner than I'm accustomed, but it taste pretty good. Maybe the standalone Ribeye was a bigger cut also? Overall a "good" experience, not life changing, nothing to write home about on this visit.
