This was our first time in, and I was impressed by the size of the lunch crowd. I had the fried chicken breast fillet, mac 'n' cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, field peas, and creamed corn. My Mom had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac 'n' cheese, fried okra, and field peas. We shared cornbread and rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and took good care of us. We'll be coming back...
City cafe has the best breakfast, but sometimes we go at 10 so we can enjoy their catfish fingers. Great atmosphere, sweetest employees, great food, great service. You may have to wait if you go during their busy times, but it moves fast. It’s worth a little wait.
A classic meat-and-three spot where locals line up early. I grabbed fried chicken with collard greens, mac & cheese, and cornbread — all tasted like pure Southern comfort. It’s busy but moves fast, and the prices are almost unbelievably low for the quality.
